Best Indian restaurant in Montreal, very near to downtown. Best restaurant for Canadians too, who like to try Indian food, as they prepare all the dishes Indian style & also with canadian spice level. My personal favourite is Paneer Lababdar. I've tried many restaurants, but this Indian restaurant in Montreal stood out as a place where I found true satisfaction & happiness. The timing of the service was perfect, & the owner was incredibly welcoming, demonstrating a deep understanding of what it takes to provide the best service. We traveled all the way from Mississauga, ON-my mom & I are both chefs, & when we see great service, we know it. I highly recommend trying the Paan Kulfi for dessert, which is made in-house, & the Rogan Josh, which melts in your mouth. Paired with perfectly made naan, it took me back to my hometown in India. one of the best butter chicken I've ever eaten! the sauce was really excellent. The only thing I liked a little less was the chicken, since I found it very hard to chew (i feel like it's not even chicken, maybe pork? bc it's was extremely hard). The waitress was very polite & kind. The chef even came to see us to ask for our opinion. update: i've tried the paneer lababdar & it's was so good! honestly a must try however it's would be great to lower the music a bit bc it's sometimes difficult to heaVoir plus

The food was bursting with authentic Indian flavors, & every dish was prepared to perfection. From the rich & creamy butter chicken to the perfectly spiced biryani, everything was absolutely delicious. The naan was soft & fresh, complementing the curries wonderfully. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm & inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff were attentive & friendly, making excellent recommendations & ensuring we had everything we needed. The food was one of the best Indian restaurants we have been to & we have been to many as we are from the UK where Indian food is one of the post popular cuisines & have also been to India. They used fresh ingredients which was reflected in the flavour. It was unique & authentic. The staff & service were wonderful & couldn't do enough for us.
