Un bel endroit à découvrir & une carte surprenante tant les plats salés que les plats sucrés. Je vous conseille le menu découverte pour ne rien rater de tout cela ! Un grand coup de coeur pour le tartare de veau & le dessert à la fenouil de par la diversité des textures !
Magnifiques assiettes qui changent de l'ordinaire, laissez-vous aller vers l'inconnu & vous ne serez pas déçu. Le point d'orgue: les desserts (mais je crois que tout le monde est au courant)

Ultimately the food is just too sweet. We tasted 70% of their dishes & they were all just sweet. Their two pasta dishes incorporated sweet root vegetables so they tasted the same. On the bright side, the sweetness paid off on the DESSERTS lol. The red velvet dessert was divine & I would go back just for that.
Just really excellent & unique food. They are popular for the desserts & deservedly so of course, but all the savoury dishes we had were also top-notch. Plus, they change their menu monthly.
Meilleur dessert de ma vie (butterscotch), à boire avec un expresso Martini pleeeeaaassseee !! Ecellent service, staff incroyable !! Bon vin, ambiance parfaite. Je vous recommande chaudement cet endroit !
On s'est offer une sortie que pour des desserts. Ce fut une excellente dégustation. Les attentes étaient d'avoir des plats trop complexes à faire à la maison & un mélange d'ingrédients inusités. Ce fut un succès.

I add their fall inspired dessert with the wine pairing & it was delicious. It was a apple rosette with a roasted parsnip in the middle as a suprise on top of a caky cookie with an apple compoty sauce, a white sauce to drizzle as you want & toasted nuts/seeds for some crushiness. A delite! I will definitely be back.
Great small restaurant, perfect for a date night. Almost every table was full. We sat at the bar & were pleased to find there were backs on the stools. We did the tasting menu; it was delicious. The black cod was perfect. The desserts were what really blew us away. Great wine selection & fantastic service. Definitely going back again soon.
Came here for the desserts & so happy I did, they were phenomenal!! Very creative desserts with lots of flavora & textures. I will be back for supper 100%. Highly recommend!
Service impeccable & menu dégustation qui en vaut vraiment la peine! Tout est choisi de manière minutieuse au niveau des ingrédients, wow! Resto parfait pour les occasions spéciales & pour aller déguster les desserts, nous avons tous apprécié le souper & c'était parfait pour souligner mon anniversaire! We had a romantic weekend in Montreal planned & wanted a special restaurant experience. My husband found this gem. We were intrigued by the menu & how desserts were different & varied. This was by far the best meal we've had in years! The attention to detail in each dish, each wine glass pairing suggestion or cocktail is perfect. The tasting menu is incredible! The staff is attentive & kind. The decor is sexy & beautiful. The music was great. We had a wonderful evening & will make the trip back as often as possible! Thank you Sandra & Jared for making us feel so welcome & for sharing your passion!
I've visited Ratafia on multiple occasions & each time the service has been attentive & thorough. The food has always been of great quality & every dish is an adventure made of flavors you had not imagined went well together. My favorite dessert is Cheese, in all its iterations it has been delicious though I do want to try again the one that had an olive oil emulsion sauce & chamomile (from 2022). I wish the best to the cooks & staff of this wonderful restaurant!
Delicious menu. Of the 6 dishes in the tasting menu 3 were dessert which may or may not be your thing. Extremely small portions so would be ideal if you are having a few alcoholic drinks- without drinks I felt a bit hungry after several courses which has never happened to me with a tasting menu. Still the food was great & it wasn't THAT expensive for the work that goes into the food. Will go back
The physical space is what you first notice, the art deco decor, soft lighting & great music all beckon you to come in. Ordering wine is a trip across the wine world, through the extremely knowledgeable sommelier. His stories of wine regions are captivating. We chose to come for dessert paired with wine. Not only is the presentation artful but the taste is out of this world. The combinations of original ingredients , those of which you would not expect to eat together, make sense after the first bite. We were blown away. I can hardly wait to return for dinner next time.
Magnifique découverte! Nous avons choisi le menu découverte qui est une véritable aubaine. Les plats sont tous délicieux (les asperges & les pâtes à la morille : wow!) & les portions très généreuses! Les desserts sont tout aussi délectables! Le service est impeccable. Un peu bruyant pour un souper romantique, mais autrement, c'est un 10/10 & j'y retournerais sans aucune hésitation!
L'ambiance & le style sont très sophistiqués! Le service chaleureux & impeccable! Nous avons toutefois été déçues par les entrées, qui manquaient de goût, mais ça s'est bien rattrapé aux plats principaux & surtout aux DESSERTS qui étaient excellents!
