Whether it is to eat desserts on the plate or to discover the magnificent savory offer, the Ratafia guarantees an extraordinary experience, where each dish is worked to highlight the products and delight the sharpest eye.
The uniquely structured kitchen does not hide a great chef but five talented pastry chefs, who in turn take part in the creation of the dishes and enjoy working in an egalitarian environment where everyone has their place.

Ratafia delivers a refined yet cozy dining experience with inventive, beautifully presented dishes, thoughtful vegan options, and attentive service that elevates every meal. The tasting menus and wine pairings are consistently well executed, showcasing bold flavors and careful balance, while the warm lighting and intimate ambiance invite lingering conversations. Desserts are a highlight for many guests, and overall quality remains high from starters to desserts, with a professional and welcoming atmosphere throughout.
Cool place with nice design & furniture, including an outside small terrace. Ambience is ok as well. Food is decent, but nothing crazy. Some dishes were tasteless ( like the arborio rice ), others ok, but not to die for. The only crazy thing is the dessert ( beetroot cake ) in my opinion. & I'm not a big dessert fan. Service was ordinary towards bad. My waitress was bad, but I saw the other ones & they were pretty good, so I won't judge based on mine as it looks like it was her first day at work. For my hungry friends, portions are rather small so you might leave hungry. I recommend you have a small bite before going if you are hungry by default. Good wine list. Some interesting cocktails as well🍸. Verdict : give it a try.

Merci pour cette belle soirée. Excellent menu 6 services & ambiance super cosy. Nous nous sommes régalés, très bons cocktails & bon vin également. Si je peux me permettre une suggestion, j'aurais aimé avoir un plat sucré en moins (donc 3 plats salé, une transition fromage moins sucrée & 2 plats sucrés aurait été parfait).
Bons cocktails & apéros/entrées à partager (brioche & olives chaudes). Toutefois, au niveau des plats, nous avons trouvé les quantités très petites. Les pâtes & le tartare étaient corrects, sans plus. Le service est de base, aimable mais aucune info sur le menu/les plats ou attention particulière (nous étions pourtant là pour un anniversaire, nous l'avons mentionné 2 fois lors de la réservation).
Outstanding. Of course famous for their desserts, but the meals & cocktails are also top notch. Love the decor & ambiance, a very classy & contemporary joint. Great place to bring a date or a (small) group of friends. Just don't show up hungry because the portions are very small.

This was my second time at Ratafia, & it was just as incredible as the first time. I travel to Montreal for business about twice a year, & this has become a staple spot I will visit every single time I'm in town. I came alone the first time, brought coworkers the second time, & will continue bringing as many people as I can to discover this gem! The desserts are stunning in presentation & taste, the food & drinks are delicious, & they even have non-alcoholic cocktails! Every dish has amazing attention to detail with textures, layered tastes, etc. Just fantastic.
Aller au Ratafia est toujours une belle expérience. Les serveurs sont fins. Les desserts sont raffinées & les cocktails sont incroyablement délicats (même ceux sans alcool). J'aime aussi qu'il y ait des femmes à la tête des cuisines. La déco est aussi élégante & belle.
Le raffinement à son meilleur. Quelle belle surprise, vous êtes rentrés dans mes top 5 restos à Montréal & je vous ai déjà recommandé à plusieurs amis. Votre de vins/cocktails haut de gamme & vos desserts étaient spectaculaires. Je dois vous avouer que c'est quand même votre poireau qui m'a le plus surpris (oui, oui), j'en aurais mangé 4!!!
Nous y étions dans le cadre de Montréal à table, plats très bons, les desserts "wahou"! L'accord mets-vins était parfait & les cocktails excellents. Nous recommandons fortement & reviendrons sans hésiter.

Excellent service in a very cozy environment. The dessert were really creative & suits every curious palate. Great selection of cocktails, wine & spirits. Definitely a must try experience.

2 cocktail plus 1 dessert à partager & taxes & pourboire on est déjà à plus de 50 $ mais c'est bon. Le Martini melon & le gâteau russe
C'était tellement delicieux , á en perdre la tête! Ambiance relax, service passionée, cocktails creatifs, des plats savamment complexes mais avec chaque ingredient present en bouche , des dégustations raffinées & enivrantes
A blast as usual: incredible & thoughtful service, cocktails & wine pairing on point, mind-blowing dishes... One of the best restaurants in Montreal for sure!
