Atmosphere is somewhat no frills (still has personality though), but the food & friendly staff make up for it. We had steak frites, chicken sandwich & caesar salad which were all excellent. Like one of the best caesar salads in the city. Highly recommend & looking forward to going back.

Honestly maybe the best fried chicken sandwich I've had in & around Montreal. The fried chicken pizza is also a thing of beauty. MoWest needs to support! It's not often we get something this good in our neighbourhood.

Everything here is made from fresh ingredients. I dropped by for lunch & I also took an order to go home later on. I started off with a piping hot bowl of tomato soup. It was delicious. I then sunk my teeth into their already trademark grilled cheese & bacon sandwich. For dessert, the warm beignets with chocolate & strawberry dipping sauces were oh-so fine.
I enjoyed the steak bavette with fries & a plain thick-crust pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella & basil. I have never had a pizza categorized as “plain” so tasty!
There is plenty to choose from on the menu. Besides a weekly table d’hôte, as well as oyster & themed nights, you can enjoy a variety of salads, their popular fish cakes, nachos, the Silk-dil-A fried chicken sandwich, popcorn chicken, chicken wings, chili & whistle dogs, fish & chips, nachos, mussels, short ribs, pasta, some other flavored pizzas & more. The MTL pizza, with grainy mustard bechamel, smoked meat, pickles, mozzarella & red onion, will be one of my future selections. @mtlrestorap

The first couple of times I had dinner here, it was not bad. Last week I found the already small menu, much smaller. A couple of us ordered mussels, which were awful. The chicken sandwich which had been good, now was served on a hamburger bun, rather then the nice bread served before. We will not be going back.
