The service could've been better. I didn't get a receipt after I paid, & there weren't any upsell attempts as expected with Haitian restaurants. If you need anything extra, you have to ask for it. There was some renovation being made, but no sign indicating or apologizing to the patrons for how the place looked.

Je commande très souvent ma nourriture chez Racine Créole &, honnêtement, je suis toujours satisfait, peu importe le menu que je choisis.
La qualité est constante, les portions sont généreuses & on sent vraiment la cuisine faite avec coeur.
Hier, après un entraînement, j'ai appelé pour faire une demande spéciale en leur disant simplement de « me gérer comme il le faut » parce que je n'avais pas encore mangé… & wow 😮🔥 ils m'ont préparé un véritable plat de roi ! Exactement ce qu'il me fallait pour récupérer.
Service attentionné, nourriture savoureuse & expérience toujours impeccable. Je recommande sans hésitation !
Je viens de Rouyn-Noranda, & oui… je suis venu jusqu'à Laval juste pour le grillot 🤣🔥
& laissez-moi vous dire : AUCUN regret.
Le grillot est tout simplement incroyable : savoureux, tendre, bien assaisonné, ça fond dans la bouche. C'est facilement le meilleur grillot que j'ai mangé. Le service est A1 : des gens respectueux, chaleureux, accueillants, ça fait vraiment plaisir.
Honnêtement, cette place te rappelle pourquoi la cuisine créole est tellement supérieure en saveurs. Une vraie claque gustative 😅

Je repars maintenant vers Rouyn-Noranda avec un super grillot dans le ventre & un énorme sourire 😋🔥

J'ai rarement été aussi impressionnée par un restaurant, ce resto haïtien a conquis mon coeur ( & mes papilles!). Nous avons commandé une assiette de griot & tout était excellent. Nous y retournerons c'est garanti!
La nourriture est bonne & savoureuse. J'ai particulièrement apprécié le riz. Le griot est bien avec une belle présentation.
La commande a été faite par téléphone & a été prête à temps pour le ramassage, ce que je salue.
Le seul bémol concerne la quantité. Le repas Griot familial (pour 2 adultes & 2 enfants), bien qu'accompagné de macaroni & de bananes plantain, demeure insuffisant pour une famille de cette taille, surtout dans le contexte de la cuisine haïtienne où les portions sont généralement plus généreuses.
Le rapport qualité-prix est donc décevant : 90 $ pour ce format me semble élevé. Cela dit, je tiens à saluer & encourager les entreprises black-owned, & j'espère que les portions pourront être ajustées à l'avenir.
