The service could've been better. I didn't get a receipt after I paid, & there weren't any upsell attempts as expected with Haitian restaurants. If you need anything extra, you have to ask for it. There was some renovation being made, but no sign indicating or apologizing to the patrons for how the place looked.
Getting customers back into a business isn't just about the food, but also the atmosphere, the service, & the decor.
Honest review.. Viande dur & dry, Riz n'est pas chaud, banane pesée etait bonne & le macaroni etait correct..*PAS DE PICKLYZZZ DANS LES PLAT* this is haitian food …WHERES MY PICKLYZZ! . Deceiving.
Racine Créole is one of the best Haitian 🇭🇹 restaurants in Laval! The food was delicious, full of authentic flavors, & served fresh. The service was excellent; the staff were welcoming, attentive, & made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

What an incredible experience! This place is the real deal-super authentic haitian food that tastes like it came straight from the motherland! The vibe was warm, inviting, & full of character-exactly what you want when you're craving Haitian food. Portions were absolutely perfect, so you can enjoy every bite without feeling stuffed. From start to finish, everything was spot on. I'll definitely be coming back & recommending it to anyone!
If you're in Laval, hands down best Haitian restaurant over there. The vibe, the place, the food, the music. Everything was in sync. Place is a bit small, but that doesn't take away from how great it is. I prefer takeout anyways. I had chicken wings plate with rice & macaroni salad. Chicken 10/10. Rice 7/10 (Not the best rice I've had, but it's okay). Macaroni salad 7/10 (I've had better also). Overall 8/10. Hoping to try other things on the menu next.
Went for a friend's birthday party & had a good time. The owner kept coming to our table to make sure we were happy with the food. The chicken wings are EXCELLENT! The pate are crispy & simply delicious, i took a dozen to go & got an other dozen the week after. As a Haitian-Canadian, I approuve this restaurant ☺️
