Just wow!! Family owned, & the owner is very nice. He's very helpful & accommodating for changing the combos.
We've had, Vegetable samosa, Aloo tiki, Paneer pokata, Eggplant pokora.
The aloo tiki has a special flavor, hits you with the species on the first bite & then more spices in the after taste but then you love it!
Best Indian food I've ever had! Tastes just like home cooking. The negative reviews are just people who don't know how authentic Indian food should taste. I used to come here as a young child & then returned here for the first time after a 20 years, & the taste is exactly the same! The dining room & bathrooms are a bit unclean but the food quality is excellent & consistent.
I randomly found this place, searching online for something quick to buy while I was waiting for a rideshare. I was not disappointed at all! The food was tasty, warm & priced well. I also like that it's only cash there. The person who serve me was also very pleasant & made me feel at home. I will definitely come back every time I visit Montreal & I've told all my friends. Come check it out & see you will not be disappointed :)
One of the reasons I would love to come to Montreal. The way I was hosted by the owner & Hasnain the cashier was super friendly.. felt like I have been invited to someone's house & the hospitality of an Indian Host.. Love when you see the Rotti priced to eat not to sell.. $1 Rotti which is worth every penny.. I wish the owner well they made us feel special.. We are a family of 5 all of us enjoyed your food.. my son just fell in love with the Channa bhattoora.. 1000/5 stars for everything for love..
I set my expections too high for this place. The food was good but not great. Although very affordable, I could find better meals at affordable prices elsewhere.

Came for a vacation to Montreal & found this little, cozy & charming restaurant. The service is great & staff is really humble. Above all, the food is literally mouth watering. Every dish is worth trying.

If you are craving typical north Indian breakfast like chai parantha, this is the place to go. Aloo parantha with dal tadka & ginger chai best to have here.
We placed a large order for our Christmas party. Every thing was an hour late & cold. Just a piece of advice. If you have to transport food. Open brown paper bags is not an acceptable option.
