The food is impeccable & irréprochable. Beyond compare. We came here for our 45 wedding anniversary. & we were welcome by Daljeet, the owner who came especially to serve us at our table. I recommend this restaurant 100% especially those unfamiliar with authentic vegetarian Indian cuisine. Not only will the food blow you away, you will no doubt become a lifetime client.
You NEED to try pushap!
One of our favourite spots in montreal.
If you aren't sure you like Indian food/ South Asian food, try it, you won't regret it.
For 15$ you get your money's worth. it's so tasty, it's unbelievable that there is no meat, every bite is comforting & delightful! Bring cash!
Amazing vegetarian Indian restaurant. So good & such great prices. Usually take Saag Paneer, Basmati rice, Naan bread, Samosas & Pekoras. Great service. Highly recommended!
Best Indian restaurant in Montreal hands down. Fed my wife & I with leftovers for 30$. The samosas are amazing. The papadam was delicious. Everything was fresh & flavorful.
Great vegetarian indian cuisine. Great service, great food, & very reasonable prices. The samosas & pakoras are delicious with their homemade sauces.
Perfect stop for North Indian food. Super delicious & worth for money. Must Visit
We visited here in 2016. Now we are back in Montreal in 2025, & came here again. Best quality Indian food that tastes like home, & feels light after leaving. The food isn't artificially oily or salty. Feels healthy & fresh!
One of the best & most affordable places for Indian food in Montreal!
Best place to eat Indian food
I went this restaurant today i like the service given by the ayush & the owner they treat their customers like a family.
As someone who has reviewed some of the best & expensive Indian restos in MTL, Pushap gets my seal of approval. They have the best samosas on the island imo. They only cost like 8$ for a dozen, totally great price. Everyone knows this place for their samosas. They also have sweets & you can sit at the restaurant & try some indian cuisine. Their food is also really good for the price you pay, which is very cheap for all the food you get. Totally worth eating here, their Thali's & everything is really good. Only downside is the resto size, they need to expand their restaurant, they barely have space for a semi big line. It is not good. Heads up only accept debit &/or cash but if you do on Uber Eats you can pay by credit card too.
When it comes to vegetarian Indian pushap is the place to go to. I've been going to since it open , same owner same & 90s place with somewhat of an upgrade. But the food is alway good. One of the best places in Montreal to get samosas & sweets still.
Best vegan Indian food in Montreal. Have been coming there for years with my family every time we're in the city.
Best Indian food I've ever had! Tastes just like home cooking. The negative reviews are just people who don't know how authentic Indian food should taste. I used to come here as a young child & then returned here for the first time after a 20 years, & the taste is exactly the same! The dining room & bathrooms are a bit unclean but the food quality is excellent & consistent.
One of the reasons I would love to come to Montreal. The way I was hosted by the owner & Hasnain the cashier was super friendly.. felt like I have been invited to someone's house & the hospitality of an Indian Host.. Love when you see the Rotti priced to eat not to sell.. $1 Rotti which is worth every penny.. I wish the owner well they made us feel special.. We are a family of 5 all of us enjoyed your food.. my son just fell in love with the Channa bhattoora.. 1000/5 stars for everything for love..
The most delicious & authentic Indian food in Montreal. The staff is kind & helpful. I strongly recommend it.
If you are craving typical north Indian breakfast like chai parantha, this is the place to go. Aloo parantha with dal tadka & ginger chai best to have here.
Daljit & the staff at Pushap offer incredibly savory Indian fare at modest prices. Prepare for an unforgettable feast in the warm, inviting ambience of this hidden gem of a restaurant that you won't forget. Bring your appetite & enjoy. Takeout is also an option & might become a pleasant habit!
Low key, service is prompt & efficient but only friendly if they know you. Quick turn around & at lunch you might share a table with strangers. The bathroom, as well as the whole restaurant, really, are sometimes in need of a bit of cleaning.... But the FOOD. My favorite indian place. Its good & its cheap. Most people order the thali plate... Samosas are very good too. & you can be in anf out in 30 mins. Oh & they have a full indian dessert bar....
