Restaurant has good ambience. Restaurent can deserve more than 3 stars if they improve the service. Got the table around 9.30 pm & didn't get the food till 10.30. Many people working in the kitchen but the priority is the TAKEOUT customers. Customers sitting in the restaurant is not getting proper treatment. There other customers also waited long to get their food. Receive little rude response from one of the female servers. Giving 3 stars only & only because of the good taste of food. But service is not up to the mark.
Not Sure what happened this restaurant was my favourite spot to eat in Montreal this is my 4th visit but this time. Taste & Quantity both were low. naan were soft, Butter chicken$16 had barely 4 pieces of chicken, Malai kofta same issue very less quantity comparative to price you pay for it.. Mix Veg was the worst I had in long time full of salt unnecessary spicy too.. please bring back the Original taste. Very disappointed ☹️
The prices here really make you feel like you're getting a bang for your buck, especially with those true Indian flavors coming through in every dish. The vibe is super welcoming, & the staff makes sure you're taken care of. Plus, everything's neat & tidy, which is always a plus.

Amazing food with decent size restaurant Food was very tasty & in good quantity Staff was friendly & happy Ordered plenty of items & served within 20-30 mins I will visit again if i am in the neighborhood

The food is good but the service could be improved. We had to wait a long time for our orders to be taken & for the food to arrive. Its very busy but they ought to hire more servers to keep up with timely service.
The decor was colorful & inviting, with traditional Punjabi elements that added to the overall charm. The seating was comfortable, & the restaurant was clean & well-maintained. Service: The staff Harman was incredibly attentive & friendly. They were knowledgeable about the menu & made excellent recommendations. The service was prompt, & we never felt rushed or neglected. Food: The highlight of the evening was, of course, the food. We started with the tandoori chicken which was bursting with flavor. The main course was equally impressive. The portion sizes were generous, making it great value for money.
We recently visited Punjab Canteen, & we must say, the experience was fantastic! The food was incredibly tasty & authentic, bringing the rich flavors of Punjab right to my plate. Each dish was well-prepared & bursting with flavour. I highly recommend Punjab Canteen to anyone looking for delicious & authentic Punjabi cuisine. I'll definitely be coming back!

I had a dine-in a week before, Cholebatura is fully oily & we got panner in the chole curry They are using all frozen food majority of food It doesn't feel fresh, me & my friend had tummy upset for 2 days after eating here
Really enjoyed the service here. Staff went above & beyond to make sure our dining experience was top-notch. They were attentive, quick with recommendations, & always on the ball with refills. Definitely a standout aspect of the visit.
