Had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious-full of authentic flavors & perfectly prepared. What really made our visit special, though, was the exceptional service. Anu, our waitress, was incredibly helpful, attentive, & warm throughout the meal. She made great recommendations & ensured everything was just right. Her friendly attitude truly elevated our dining experience. Highly recommend this place, & a big thank you to Anu for making our visit so enjoyable!
Im quite picky when it comes to indian food, but this place had good ratings so we all said let's give it a try. I give it a 3.5/5.
I must say, the food was not the best but it wasn't bad either. The butter chicken didn't have the right flavour for any of us, it had a distinct taste from that spice they use, i guess they added too much of it. The lamb & naan bread were amazing & delicious, no complaints on that. The spinach / cheese was flavourless so we barely touched it.
Also our pitcher of beer was not good at all, beer was HOT so they added Ice in there, & since we paid for it, we forced ourselves to drink it but we left almost half of it, it was just not it. Hot beer is never good.
I must say our waitresses made the service pleasant, they were super nice & friendly throughout our visit.
I would give it another try, they had other choices on the menu I wanted to taste & sometimes the first time isn't the best impression.

Amazing experience like always, my friend tried indian food for the first time. The staff is great & they were very courteous. Anu & Anju helped us. We had a great experience.

It is a decent Indian restaurant. Lots of authentic Indian food with lots of customization. It is also affordable & it is mainly for students so the price is good. I like coming here whenever I am feeling homesick. In the summer they have sugarcane juice which is delicious.
Recently I tried the vada pav & it was delicious. The 2 chutneys were great. Spicy & sweet. Great job!
A truly authentic Indian place. Everything tasted fresh & perfectly spiced, with deep flavors in every bite. I loved the taste & the overall experience-highly recommend.

Great food with authentic Indian flavors & a pleasant atmosphere. Service could use a little improvement, but overall a good experience & worth visiting again.

I visited this restaurant with my family for first time & the taste & flavors were amazing. Highly recommended if you want to try some delicious Indian food. We tried chole bhatura, mix parantha, gobhi parantha & masala chai, it made our day. All too good & definitely coming back here to try more. Anu & Akhwinder served us with great hospitality. I had the most delicious paranthas at this restaurant! The paranthas were perfectly crispy on the outside & soft inside, stuffed, spicy on request generously with flavorful fillings. They reminded me of authentic homemade paranthas from India. Served hot with fresh yogurt, tangy pickles, & butter melting on top-absolutely comforting & satisfying. The taste, portion size, & presentation were excellent. Definitely a must-try for anyone craving real Indian comfort food! Best chefs in town Parminder & Rajwinder.
The food was exceptional, service did take some time however, upon request they made food with indian level spice & it was amazing

We ordered channa bhtura & amrsitari kulcha that was very tasty the indian guy was so polite he served a fresh food with a pure hygiene i must say the overall this restaurant is better than order branches will try again
We had visited here from New York City & wanted to try some local Indian cuisine. The food was delicious, the location was nice & clean but by far the nicest thing was the service, it was the best service we have had in a long time. They treated us like family, like we were eating in their living room. I would recommend anyone local or from abroad who wants to try local cuisine in this area would recommend to try this place out, won't be disappointed.
Had a great experience at Punjab Canteen! I tried the veg burger & my mom had the chana puri - both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic, & their special chutney/sauce really took everything to the next level. We also had excellent service from our waitresses, Anu & Siya, who were friendly, attentive, & welcoming. Special mention to the owner, Raman, whose professionalism & warmth made our visit even better. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving tasty & well-prepared Indian food in Montreal!
UPDATE: Went again to try their thali & it really fell short. The Dal Makhani was Kaali Dal not actually Dal Makhani, the shahi paneer was too sweet. However I did LOVE the fact they serve the gulab jamun hot at the end of the thali as part of their thali. Great touch! Won't be going there for main course just street food. Also turn down the music just a bit please. It was at the right volume at my first visit.
