Punjab Canteen truly delivers the authentic taste of Punjab! The food is prepared in a traditional way that reminds you of home, especially their churi fresh, flavorful, & made with such care that you can taste the love in every bite. The ingredients are always fresh, & the service is warm, polite, & genuine. It's rare to find such a perfect combination of great taste & traditional preparation. Highly recommend this place to anyone craving real Punjabi flavors & excellent hospitality ❤?

Punjab Canteen truly stands out when it comes to delicious, authentic Punjabi food. Every dish is full of rich flavors & prepared with great care - you can really taste the freshness & quality in every bite. The portions are generous, & the food always tastes homemade, just like traditional Punjabi cooking.
The service is just as impressive - the staff are warm, friendly, & always make sure you have everything you need. The atmosphere is welcoming & gives that perfect'home away from home' vibe.

My dining experience at this Punjabi restaurant was absolutely fantastic! The honey gobi was a knockout-perfectly crispy cauliflower coated in a sweet & tangy glaze that was incredibly addictive. It was the ideal balance of flavors & texture. To wash it all down, I had the mango lassi, & it was one of the best I've ever tasted. Rich, creamy, & bursting with the fresh, sweet flavor of ripe mango.
Everything, from the delicious food to the warm & inviting atmosphere, made for a truly memorable meal. I can't wait to go back & try more of their authentic dishes. Five stars!
Punjab Canteen is a nice place if you love Punjabi food. The place has a desi vibe with simple, clean seating. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded, but the staff is friendly. Prices are okay for the quality & quantity of food. Overall, it's a good spot for a family lunch or dinner.

The decor was colorful & inviting, with traditional Punjabi elements that added to the overall charm. The seating was comfortable, & the restaurant was clean & well-maintained. Service: The staff Harman was incredibly attentive & friendly. They were knowledgeable about the menu & made excellent recommendations. The service was prompt, & we never felt rushed or neglected. Food: The highlight of the evening was, of course, the food. We started with the tandoori chicken which was bursting with flavor. The main course was equally impressive. The portion sizes were generous, making it great value for money.
We recently visited Punjab Canteen, & we must say, the experience was fantastic! The food was incredibly tasty & authentic, bringing the rich flavors of Punjab right to my plate. Each dish was well-prepared & bursting with flavour. I highly recommend Punjab Canteen to anyone looking for delicious & authentic Punjabi cuisine. I'll definitely be coming back!
Surprisingly food was as good as brampton. I dont need to drive to Brampton for Punjabi food again. Chicken tikka was one of the best i have had in Canada.

Absolutely loved my experience at Punjabi Canteen! The food was delicious - I tried the panipuri, veg thali, palak paneer, & tandoori butter naan roti. Everything was flavorful & satisfying. The staff was incredibly caring & attentive, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Can't wait to visit again!
Excellent food so far. Not had as good Punjabi food in Toronto or Montreal. The right taste & spice. Music selection was good too. Do try the Amritsari kulcha. Really mouth watering...
Just had some of the best punjabi food in Canada. The kulcha is out of this world. Kadhai chicken & Naans were cooked to perfection. Highly recommended for those seeking terrific punjabi food in Montreal. The seating is spacious & quite comfortable. Service is friendly too!
Ici, on trouve des ingrédients frais, un personnel souriant & une belle ambiance, le tout à des prix raisonnables. Une expérience culinaire indienne authentique dans un décor chaleureux, servie avec un bon sens de l'accueil typique du Québec. I have a couple of things that I would like to bring forward but for the time being my 5 star rating is solely for the food & the upgrade that punjab canteen has achieved by opening this location. I am an old customer, rue liege location reminded me of punjabi dhabas. Good food, good prices & to the point service haha. I was super excited for this new location & finally was able to come from Ottawa to experience it. First of all, awesome upgrade! What a nice looking restaurant, great vibe, great lighting, good music & clean! Maza aa gya! Now we come to the food. My fear was that now with the upgrade the food must have gone down as it might get whitewashed to appeal to a larger audience. But when we ordered, not only the presentation had elevated but the taste as well! The achari chicken tikka was so soft, juicy & flavorful.. a must have! You guys are not stingy with your garlic on your garlic naan 😄 it was amazing! Everything we ordered was great! The quantity has sure gone down but the quality has definitely progressed. I don't think the quantity justifies the prices but it is understandable. I can compromise with that if the quality is this good :). Oh & I had the strawberry mojito.. yum yum yummmmmm!!! Now we come to the service. The service at rue liege was acceptable considering the vibe of the restaurant but now that you have this beautiful location with such presentable delicious food, I think it is time to train the servers to match that level of service that you guys are going for. I was greeted with a smile at the front, seated nicely by the male staff. The female staff just didn't seen to be enjoying what they were doing. The lack of enthusiasm was killing the vibe for me which the food made up for. No harm in smiling a little & being polite. I understand that it is a tiring job & we desis are sometimes not the best customers to deal with. I have worked in the service industry myself back in the days & I totally understand the type of crowd we can get sometime. But it is not fair to treat everybody the same way when you are representing a really good restaurant which is progressing so beautifully. A warm smile & a caring attitude can melt the toughest of crowds. This is the only constructive criticism I would give you guys. I love Punjab canteen & I am very happy for all that you have achieved! I wish the best to you guys for your future! My mother is coming from India so I will see you guys soon :D she is going to drool over that Dal Makhani!!!! Haha
