Service was excellent. The host who greeted us was very accommodating & moved us from an inside table to a patio table when we asked for it. A very popular place, even with all the street construction happening outside. Reservations recommended.Voir plus
I enjoyed the steak tartare with their homemade chips. That was delicious. One of my friends had the chicken pot pie, which they quite enjoyed. Two people had the W&W burgers. They said they were pretty good, but they were quite red in odd places. Like not in the center. So they probably ate half of their burgers. But what they ate they enjoyed. It's just unfortunate that they were not cooked correctly. I also enjoyed a delicious spicy margarita type cocktail, which is the only thing I was able to get a picture of.Voir plus
Such great service here! I asked to sit somewhere quiet, & they had the perfect spot. The waiter was so polite & friendly, she was fantastic. I ordered a wolf & workman ale & dinner. Get the chicken pot pie! It's a showstopper.Voir plus
We have been here twice since we arrived for a conference in Montreal. The staff are friendly & welcoming & the patrons were friendly. I really enjoyed the chicken pot pie & the old fashions were spectacular. Highly recommend this establishment to people are wanting to experience the Montreal culture.Voir plus

Bonne expérience! Il faut goûter le chicken pot pie, mais attention ce plat est disponible juste pendant le soir (pas à midi)Voir plus
My wife & I & two other couples met for a pre-Christmas brunch at Wolf & Workman Pub on St. Paul Street in Old Montreal. The first thing you notice is the décor of the pub, it's has a beautiful interior with lots of dark wood, stone walls, polished brass & red leather seating, It really is a beautiful restaurant. Wolf & Workman has a unique combination of British & Quebecois food, fused in unique combinations. We ordered from the brunch menu & I had the W&W burger, which is a very generous burger portion coupled with hand cut fries. The Pub added an additional spicy mayo to the burger dish which was excellent. My wife ordered the crunchy sucrine salad with pesto with an additional order of chicken. She said it was excellent. The service at W&W was excellent & the Pub is equipped with a wide range of beer, wine & liquors for even the eclectic palate. Non-alcoholic options are available as well. Eating at Wolf & Workman was really a wonderful experience & one we would recommend to anyone visiting Old Montreal. A special shout-out to our server Chantal who was absolutely excellent!Voir plus
We got the burger & the chicken pot pie & they were both delicious. Fun atmosphere inside & very nice servers.Voir plus
I didn't eat, but what my friends had looked all in all delicious & plentiful, especially the Indian chicken. The burger looked average & the fries burned. Friendly service & nice outdoor seating in a court decorated with little light chains.Voir plus
Food is good, but nothing crazy. For some reason our waiter "changed" 3 times , they(the waiters) were all quite nice , but its a bit confusing. All dishes are beautifully plated, but some would benefit from(better) sides, for example the fish is said to come with a puree, but the puree is such that it blends with the sauce. When I read puree I expect a minimum of consistency. Also despite it not being indicated I could taste something akin to dill, or anise in the fish's sauce. The burger's fries are quite great, The caprese too. I was disappointed in the pasta, they were overly salty, I never did that ever, but I requested them to redo it, & from my understanding it was impossible to do, since the pasta's sauce is done in "batch/great quantity" (not that it isnt fresh), I ended up changing my dish to chicken, but I genuinely did not want to eat an indian dish that day. Also we came at around 5 , & were a group of 3 but, it took a while for our dish to come , some people came after us, & had the time to receive their drinks & dishes before us. Overall everyone was quite nice, but I cannot say it was my best experience. Small tidbit, our first waiter spoke english & french, but seemed to struggle a bit(with french), but I applaud their choice to come back to make sure of our order instead of taking it wrong. Strongest point of this place, is the ambiance, the decor, & the art, & sort of terrace behind, which is isolated from the busy streets.Voir plus
Great spot for lunch! Fast, friendly service, prices ok (for Old Montreal, anyway). I ordered the chicken pot pie, & it was very good. The sauce was maybe missing a kick (more white wine, maybe?), but the portion was generous & filled with juicy, tender chicken & the pastry was phenomenal. Some kind of side (steamed veg, green salad) would have been welcome for the price. Nonetheless, highly recommended!Voir plus
Chicken pot pie is heavenly. Feels like a warm hug on a cold day. BravoVoir plus
Loved the experience. I will be back for The Chicken Pot Pie ❤️ Loved their cocktails. On point 👉Voir plus
Lovely pub atmosphere & decor. The best Chicken Pot Pie i've ever had.Voir plus
The chicken pot pie is the best I've ever tried. It was suggested by the man seating next to us & he said it was his favorite chicken pot pie & that he went to this place every week to have it. He was right, it was amazing, & the price was fair considering the amount of food. We also had drinks (Lysa is a must try) & the smoked sturgeon as an appetizer, which was really good as well. It gets pretty crowded, but it was easy to get a table for two (Thursday dinner) & the service was so lovely they even managed to get us a table in the backyard, which is adorable!Voir plus
Really cool place for evening drinks & a bite to eat with good music. On the night we did have a significant wait on the food which we were not informed about but it was fine. The potted chicken, fish pie were good but the fries which accompanied the house burger were burnt which was a shame as they were nicely seasoned. Price wise probably a bit pricey for what is obviously pub food but the venue dictates that to some extent.Voir plus
What a wonderful gastropub! I had the chicken tikka masala (I cleaned my plate so well, the waiter joked I must have hated it. 😂 It was so, so flavorful, with a hint of heat), a pint of bitter, & sticky toffee pudding. I can only hope a paneer version of the tikka is also offered (I was here on a work trip; my partner is vegetarian & I know she would love the tikka if it were paneer/potato). Staff was attentive without being overbearing, very friendly, & well informed about the menu. Will come back every time in future.Voir plus
Appetizers were great. Tried the Scotch Egg & Croquettes which were both delicious. Chicken Tikka was solid & the Pork Cho was tasty, too. Liked my Martini & everyone in the group enjoyed everything!Voir plus
I had a great time at Wolf & Workman. I got a delicious & filling chicken pot pie. Lucy & Samantha were both incredibly kind & helpful. They even found the 2024 Canadian women's Olympic gold medal volleyball final match that I really wanted to watch.Voir plus
Gastropub with an English-Deutsche feel to it. Nice interior, great service. Food menu is not big but is of quality, had the best chicken pot pie I've had in the city here. This place has a fun atmosphere, a good casual but clean hangout in the Old Port.Voir plus
Came here for the chicken pot pie & it did not disappoint. My cream ale was good & my mom's pimm's cup was the best we had in Montreal. Lunch on a wednesday wasn't too busy. It was a great lunch in a beautiful restaurant & I'll be back next time I'm in Montreal.Voir plus
Skip the Lumache & get the Chicken Pot Pie.Voir plus
Great spot with excellent food & nice drinks. The prices are good compared to other pubs & restaurants in the area. The food is very tasty. Everything we tried was delicious. The salad definitely surprised us in a positive way. The chicken pot pie, the soup, & the hummus platter are also excellent, but the salad is very special. The service was excellent as well.Voir plus
What a fun Montréal infused British pub! Excellent service. The porc croquettes were a pleasant surprise, & the chicken pot pie was crazy good! The small dessert menu included the sticky toffee pudding like some we enjoyed in England. We had several delicious cocktails.Voir plus
Bustling environment with large dining space. Service prompt. We elected for the two pies on the menu, the chicken pot & the fisherman's pie. Both were fantastic. The fisherman's pie is more of a shepherd's pie style with a mash potato top. It was really tasty.Voir plus
Awesome pub!!! Vibrant bar, really cozy dining area that can accommodate large groups, outdoor courtyard, the staff is like hanging with your best friends, cocktails are spot on, Gabby mixes drinks on & off the menu, Lucy will always greet you with her beautiful smile ( & a hug if you're lucky), Danny will always find you a spot even when the places is packed!!! You gotta try their Chicken pot pie!!! A must when you are in the Old Port!!!Voir plus
