Unfortunately, we left feeling like we simply weren't welcome because we had children with us.
When we arrived, the pub was almost empty. We were seated without any issue, ordered a pitcher, & our kids had water. About 20 minutes later, we were suddenly told there was a $10 minimum per person, including the children, & were told they could order a soft drink or juice. Aside from the fact that a juice or soft drink obviously doesn't cost $10, what made the situation particularly frustrating was that a nearby table of three adults had only ordered a pitcher of sangria &, as far as we could see, they were not approached about the same $10-per-person minimum.
The message felt pretty clear: we were the only table with children, & they didn't want us there.
If children aren't welcome, that's completely fine-but then simply tell families at the door rather than seating them, taking their order, & then introducing a'minimum per person' 20 minutes later that doesn't appear to be applied consistently to other customers.
We understood the message, quickly finished our drinks, & left. Needless to say, we won't be returning.
Nice exterior, but sketchy. Don't order a mixed drink.
Charges you for a double, even if you got & ordered a single of who knows what (the label says Hendrick's, the drink is almost certainly not).
Mon chum a ouvert la porte tout souriant en disant Bonjour, c'est ouvert? Le propriétaire lui même, super arrogant, a dit pourquoi tu penses que c'est débarré, pourquoi tu penses qu'il y a des employés, pourquoi tu penses qu'il y a du monde sur la terrasse en arrière... il n'arrêtait pas. J'ai dit alors on va aller sur la terrasse. Il a dit prends toi donc qqch à boire en passant. Bières en fût Boréal seulement, 33$ pour 2 pintes & sans service au tables. Les clients allaient eux même chercher & reporter les plateaux. Mon chum a été traumatisé par la salle de bain des hommes, il voulait jetter ses souliers parce qu'il y avait de la pisse à la grandeur du plancher. Toilette des femmes seulement 1 & sans papier.
La terrasse est belle mais nous n'y retournerons jamais.
Les faits sont très très très exacts, je ne fais jamais de mauvais commentaires pour rien. De toute façon, les gens verrons par eux-mêmes & les autres commentaires vont en ce sens depuis le changement de propriétaire...
Je n'ai pas aimé mon expérience, y'a de la place pour s'assoir ok mais c'est super cher & il n'y a même pas les prix affichés sur le menu du site, avec marqué en petit que les prix changent après 20h sans dire de combien...
A la caisse les options de pourboire sont 18, 20 & 25% 😅
Un verre de canada dry, donc même pas une canette complète de 33cl, 10$ hors pourboire, c'est vraiment du vol.
Le gérant vient nous voir en disant si vous voulez rester sur la terrasse faut consommer plus, on avait deja pris 3 verres en 1h.
Vraiment abusé, fait pas s'étonner d'avoir moins de clients avec un traitement comme ça.
Pub à éviter. Tout est excessivement cher (presque 7$ pour un sprite qui goûte le plastique). On s'est fait refuser des verres d'eau malgré avoir tous payé pour une consommation. Le gérant très étrange est venu nous porter nos factures sans qu'on le demande quelques instants après avoir reçu nos verres comme pour nous montrer la porte. Les réponses du pub aux avis négatifs publiés ici sont également horrifiantes venant d'une entreprise... À être le pub j'arrêterais d'insulter des clients sur google reviews & j'essayerais d'améliorer mon bar.
