Je ne sais pas par où commencer. J'y étais l'autre soir & ce que j'ai vécu est proprement inadmissible.
Comme ce pub ne sert pas de nourriture, nous avions apporté un petit snack ; ce qui est normalement toléré. Le propriétaire est venu nous demander 3$ de frais supplémentaires PAR PERSONNE pour manger notre propre nourriture. Il a également exigé 3 consommations par personne pour regarder un match, sans que ce soit affiché nulle part.
Quand j'ai simplement demandé des clarifications, il s'est avancé vers moi de manière agressive & m'a dit, mot pour mot, que'les gens comme moi mériteraient de se prendre une balle dans la tête'. Il m'a touché physiquement à deux reprises, sans mon consentement, de façon intimidante. Quand j'ai réagi, il m'a dit que si je ne voulais pas me faire toucher, c'était la porte.
Faire des menaces de mort est un acte criminel. Un contact physique non consenti & intimidant aussi. Les clients à la table voisine ont tenté d'intervenir, en vain.
Cet homme est dangereux. Boycottez cet endroit & signalez-le. Personne ne devrait vivre ça en allant regarder un match.

I don't usually leave negative reviews but this place really deserves it. I came in with a couple of friends to watch the game & we each ordered a drink & a bag of chips. Our waitress was very nice, it was apparently her second day & she seemed to be the only one serving all the tables. Everything was going well until the owner asked us if we wanted a refill. We didn't say no, just that we were good for now. I would have been ready to order again later but he said we have to get a minimum of 3 drinks if were want to stay for the whole game. At first we thought he was joking, the bar was far from being full so it's not like we had to vacate our spot. But he was very serious so we simply tried to clarify if it was 3 drinks per person. To which he implied we were dumb for even asking & started ranting on how a business can't make profit if people don't order more for the amount of time we expected to stay (not our problem??), & that people like us should get shot in the head (WHAT, how did it escalate to that??), all while touching my friend without his consent. The interaction on our end was calm, nobody raised their voice, so I don't see how we could have provoked such aggressive statements. We paid & stayed at our table 15 minutes longer so my friend could finish his drink. But I guess paying for one drink instead of three doesn't grant us the right to stay for the entirety of a hockey game, because the owner told us to leave & never come back. At this point, my friend noticed a large group watching us, so he went to ask them if they heard all that. They also had an argument with the owner about the 3 drink'policy' & they came to our defense when he said he'd call the cops on us if we didn't leave & tried to take our picture. You can tell how rude & unprofessional he is just by looking at the immature answers to other negative reviews.

Je suis venu plusieurs fois dans ce bar & tout était correct d'autant plus que la terrasse est vraiment charmante, mais le soir du 3 mai, c'est la première fois que je suis venu alors que le patron était présent & sachez qu'il est très désagréable. Il faut savoir qu'ils n'ont pas de cuisine & la plupart du monde apporte un truc de l'extérieur, sauf que ce soir-là, il nous a demandé de payer 3$ supplémentaire pour ça (ce qui n'est jamais arrivé avant & qui n'est affiché nul part). Je voulais faire une pause dans mes consommations d'alcool & le propriétaire m'a dit'faut minimum 3 consommations pour rester'. J'ai demandé si c'était une blague & il a commencé à me dire qu'il faut bien qu'il y ait un retour sur investissement sur son établissement à plusieurs millions de dollars. Je me suis renseigné, & il est bien illégal au Québec de pousser à la consommation. Après ça, il a commencé à menacé mon ami en disant, mot pour mot'les gens comme vous ça prend une balle dans la tête' ;'tes commentaires tu peux les mettre profond dans ton cul' ;'fais bien attention à qui tu parles'. Mon ami ne lui a absolument pas manqué de respect, il lui a juste posé une question très calmement & le propriétaire a réagi très violemment. Le propriétaire a aussi touché 2 fois mon ami, & m'a aussi touché ainsi que pris en photo sans notre consentement. Un groupe de 16 personnes qui avait réservé à côté ont eu la même expérience avec lui.
Donc l'espace est cute, mais ce propriétaire est absolument horrible, violent, agressif & je dirais même jusqu'à dangereux.
La serveuse, par contre, était fort sympathique, elle nous a avoué que c'était son 2e jour. Je lui souhaite de trouver un autre emploi avec un employeur plus agréable.
Je re-publie mon avis ici, car après l'avoir fais sur Google maps, quelqu'un (sûrement le propriétaire) l'a signalé, tout comme tous les autres commentaires de la table de 16 personnes & d'autres commentaires de la semaine qui n'avaient qu'une étoile, c'est complètement injuste, d'autant plus que ces commentaires étaient tout à fait légitimes.
First time in Montreal & I will be coming back just to hangout at this pub. Truly one of the friendliest spots in the city. Big thanks to Maël for having us!
Bel endroit avec une bonne ambiance! Excellent Pub pour prendre une bonne bière! Nous avons eu un très bon service des employés sur place ainsi que du propriétaire Claude! Nous y retournerons assurément! Cheers! 🍻

Passé une soirée en bonne compagnie au pub. Bon service, c'était notre 2ieme visite. On a vu la terrase (l'été dernier c'était de la pluie, pas de chance). Staff super sympa! Merci pour la belle soirée!
Le Pub Saint Élisabeth n'est plus ce qu'il était. L'endroit a perdu son atmosphère chaleureuse & authentique. On sent que l'expérience client n'est plus une priorité. Vraiment décevant pour un lieu qui avait tant de caractère.
Great pub with friendly & welcoming staff. The outdoor terrace area is an absolute wonder & you should visit this place just to see it. There's a good selection of beers, wines & spirits. Highly recommended 👌
