The experience overall was ok but not at the level of a true afternoon tea as in other places I've been to (le parloir, red cardinal, Queen E, Ritz etc). There should be a menu with a list of the teas & shirt description, the tea served was lukewarm, the choices were mediocre, when I asked to warm the tea, it was not hotter than before. The savoury & sweets were good but clearly the spotlight of the experience was not the tea. They kept the light out as well in the lounge. It was fine in the afternoon but it got dark fast & we couldn't see well what we were eating... again, it didn't have the afternoon tea experience... they lit candles & it seemed more of a lounge. It's unfortunate but if all the tea places I've been in Montreal, this was my least favourite. Maybe the experience is better at the original building
