About us
Welcome to Pub BreWskey, the neighborhood pub in Old Montreal!
Initiated by three friends passionate about gastronomy, beer, and whisky, the BreWskey project came to life in 2015 with the opening of its first establishment. Focusing on our house-brewed beers, a refined selection of whiskies, and comforting pub cuisine, our pub embodies the simplicity of the principle that we offer you the products and service we would appreciate as customers. At the pub, you have access to our on-site brewed beers through 20 draft lines, in addition to a wide selection of carefully chosen whiskies and other premium spirits. Our pub, the most "intimate" among our three locations, provides a warm atmosphere perfect for small groups. In the summer, enjoy our spacious terrace on Saint-Paul Street and soak in the atmosphere of Old Montreal!

Microbrewery in Old Port area, right under the Bonsecour market. Has three spaces that are connected - a restaurant/pub & two brewery-style seating. Pub has food & will also do beer flights. Beers are great, with some really fun flavors. We loved their peanut butter stout & mango sour. We felt that their NEIPA's weren't very hoppy. Food is very much like bar food - fried stuff, nachos, burgers, & poutines. Great flavors & a fun place to hangout.View more

We discovered this place our first night in town & loved it so much that we returned every day on our 6-day trip! Loved the vibe. We chose to sit at the bar but the table seating looked very cozy. The food all smelled & looked great. We only ate there twice but ended up getting the same both times: wings w spicy honey for dipping & sweet potato waffle fries w some sort of remoulade. So tasty! Drink selection was awesome, especially for us tourists looking for local brews. The best part was the service. We befriended a few of the bar tenders & servers during our time & they were all very friendly--& really skilled at their craft! They were also open during the holidays! The business has two other spaces, but we preferred to sit at the bar in the pub. I will recommend this place to anyone making a trip to Montreal!View more

Couldn't leave Montreal without leaving an awesome review for this place! Jonathan the manager showed us a great time- super friendly & accommodating. It was our anniversary trip & we went here a few times because the vibes were so good. Beer was great, cool spot. We didn't really eat here so can't comment on the food but it's been a while since we've been treated so well at a restaurant/bar.View more

I've been here more than once in my journey to Montreal, I gotta say it's very good especially for beer lovers they have more beer options, they do have cocktails & whiskey options though. If you're going to the bathroom it's upstairs , it's a pretty big place connecting another bar upstairs. Definitely recommend going with a group or alone , great staff overallView more

Super bar qui propose une belle terrasse friendly. La bière gose était très bonne. Nous avons pris les grilled cheese, c'était un délice, un des meilleurs que j'ai mangé ! Je recommande fortement, on sent que ce sont des produits frais & qualitatifs.View more

I really liked it here. It's hard to rate it because it's an unusual space. There's a bar area overlooking a working brewery so you have an interesting view. Staff are super friendly & the food is very good value, generous & tasty. No frills & perfect for accompanying one or two or more of the very good beers they produce. We had a choice of 20. Try the dark lager!View more

This place was amazing!! It's small but mighty, & I would strongly recommend reservations. We lucked because there was room at the bar. This place oozes atmosphere & is connected to their tap room, which is significantly larger & more industrial, brew pub modern. They really do an excellent job with their brews, but the food is exceptional! I was tempted by the fish & chips but went with the house smoked ribs. I'm salivating as I write this. I don't want to take away from the excellent service, but the food was amazing!!View more

Nous sommes entré pour découvrir le pub! Nous connaissions déjà les bières mais quel plaisir de les redécouvrir en fut! Très belle ambiance, nous étions du coté du pub assis au bar & nous avons été très bien servi par votre bairmaid au cheveux frisés! Très sympatique & de bon conseils pour nous faire découvrir les trésors cachés que sont certaines de vos bières! La P-nut Buster!!! OMG... Merci pour le début de soirée, la prochaine fois on restera plus longtemps & nous essayerons votre nouriture. Belle sélection de bières à emporter aussi.View more

Interesting bar/restaurant with three different sections, each with their own feel. You can get flights of 4 beers with your choice of 19 of their own beers & a cider. The food is good & the service is friendly. My only suggestion is don't sit at a table near the door when it's cold out.View more
via LibroTheir craft beer is very delicious as well as the food. The service was very slow, our empty beer glasses waited half an hour on the table. They have 2 levels, upstairs doesn't have any windows, only bar & some tables. Downstairs part doesn't have certain food at rhe menu " they said"... We'd prefer downstairs, has beautiful brick wall & big windows seeing the Old Port. We may go back for the delicious cheese burger.

via LibroFood was great. Tasty. Both girls who served us where also great & friendly. However, the bartender (October 9th) was a total douchebag & we left early to drink elsewhere because of him. This being the upstairs bar & not the taproom. Probably won't return due to the douchebag bartender.

Loved it there !!!
It's so rare these days to find a nice bar with refined food. Everything on the menu is worth trying & you notice right away the chef adds a twist to everything on the menu. My personal favorite was the chicken & lobster, it's a must !! The meat is perfectly cooked & the sauces are just out of this world.
Great location as well, right there in the trendy spot of old montreal, but just to the far end of St-Paul street so you avoid the big tourist crowds you usually get elsewhere in the center.
They have a nice terrace outside & a great selection of beers.
Perfect for a date or to bring a bunch of friend for drinks.
Definitely worth trying !!!

I've been to many, many bars in my life & I have to say that Pub BreWskey is one of the best. Denis Guiol is an extremely talented Chef & his food is both delicious & perfectly portioned guaranteeing you get your moneys worth. Guillaume Couraud, Karine Amyotte, Derrick Robertson, Lalou Des Iles & all the other staff go out of their way to make sure everyone in their bar has a good time. A great location & a friendly safe atmosphere I'm planning on having my next birthday party at Pub BreWskey, I highly recommend Pub BreWskey to all my friends & Family.

Quelle surprise ! Le Pub BreWskey est LE bar à microbrasseries & whiskies du vieux port ! Je n'ai jamais été un grand fan du vieux port & de ses bars. C'est toujours trop prétentieux & on finit avec de la mauvaise bière & de la bouffe ordinaire. C'est pas le cas du brewskey. La décor est vraiment top (allez voir les lumières en dedans !) mais surtout la bière est écoeurante & ça a l'air qu'ils la changent souvent. Toute la table a trippé sur la bière autant que la bouffe. Le service était bon & les serveurs savent de quoi ils parlent. On y retourne c'est sur !!
