It was not that great. I've seen many people on socials loving this place & saying it's the best fried chicken in town. Overrated to say the least. I don't know but I really didn't like the chicken it has this weird flavour & it was hard to even eat it. The fries were ok & the sauces were decent as well. One bottle ice tea was 5,49!! That's insane, way too expensive… On top of that I feel that the restaurant is a bit too small to really fit anyone inside. I don't think I will be coming back unfortunately. Great service though, always smiling & kind.
Commande depuis Uber.
I don't know what this restaurant is trying to achieve, but for months they were offering their Grill Bowl as Buy One, Get One Free for $17.69 on Uber Eats.
Now they've changed the price of that exact same item to $23.99, while it is still listed as Buy One, Get One Free.
The strange part is that there are now two listings for what appears to be the exact same product on Uber Eats-one priced at $17.69 & the other at $23.99.
I don't understand the logic behind this pricing, why Uber Eats has approved it, or what pricing strategy this restaurant is trying to follow by selling the same product under two different names at two different prices.
While I do miss the building's predecessor, O'Poulet, which did not get enough love in it's time. This newer chicken spot is an acceptable replacement. The concept is kind of funny- you can go totally unhealthy like I did on my first visit with the fried chicken sandwiches, or the opposite way with a much healthier bowl loaded with veggies (mimic of the Poulet Rouge concept). They have a good variety of sauces available for customization. Service is generally good, although I did notice the guy didn't drain the beans properly when preparing my bowl last time.
The bowl was good. Its almost as good as poulet rouge. But I only tried it once compared to poulet rouge which ive tried many times. Cant wait to try other flavors to finalise my choice. They also have way more flavors & varieties than their biggest competition, poulet rouge. Its 100% worth trying once, just to compare it, at least.
Very good burgers & excellent service by Dipa. Had a good meal after Ariana Grande at the Bell Centre!
Ubereats - Overall 3.5/5 for me.
The food is ok but there's better options. The bowls are good but Poulet rouge is more flavourful in my opinion (got the lemon flavor). Again the fried chicken is good but Madame poulet is crispier & more generous.
I liked that you can get a mix of grilled & fried chicken, if you're a group that can be nice.
The fried chicken is exceptional, featuring a unique, crispy spice blend & a generous portion. Pair that with absolutely delicious waffle fries & a queen sauce that definitely doesn't disappoint.
