gave me the wrong order, literally the entire bowl was wrong. gave me feta instead of cheddar, grilled chicken instead of crispy, beans when i didn't want beans. & the service was really rude
Had to try it after seeing it everywhere on my fyp but it wasn't all that . Yes it's good chicken but pretty much like any other chicken store nothing really pops out.

Poulet Royal never disappoints. The chicken is juicy, the portions are generous & the sauce is 🔥. It's not a fancy place, but that's part of the charm they just focus on making really good food.
Prices are fair & the food always hits the spot. Definitely a go-to when you're hungry.
'Best chicken in the world,' they said. Well, to me, it was below average. The chicken was unseasoned, & don't get fooled by the appearance of the fries, they are very mid. The only thing salvageable about the burger was the sauce. My friend ordered the original burger, while I went for the Western one, but they both tasted exactly the same. The place is tiny & located in a basement, & as if that wasn't depressing enough, they decided to paint all the walls black, which makes it feel even more depressing. We also noticed a smell of urine when we entered. At first, we assumed it came from outside. Well, it didn't. Their bathroom stank of pee. Overall, there are plenty of great restaurants downtown to choose from instead of this one.
I ordered 18 pieces for a get together from Uber Eats & only received 4 very small chicken pieces. The taste was great however the situation was very disappointing for a 60+ minutes wait to receive my order.
I called the restaurant multiple times & left a message to make them aware of what happened & never received a call back.

Tried the Nashville hot chicken tenders - & honestly, this is the kind of concept Montreal needs more of. It definitely offers more variety & flavour than spots like Poulet Rouge, & the potential is definitely there.
The hot chicken itself had solid flavour - spicy, savoury, & bold. The ranch & BBQ sauces were both tasty (especially the BBQ), but the breading on the tenders kept falling off, which made it messy & a bit frustrating to eat. The original chicken wasn't really my thing, but that might be personal taste.
Overall, it's a great idea with room to grow. A few tweaks to the execution & this could easily become a go-to spot for Nashville-style heat in Montreal
I've been seeing this restaurant on my FYP & finally got the chance to try it yesterday. As a chicken lover, this place gets an 8 out of 10 from me. The chicken tenders were good, served hot, & the portion was generous. The place is small but cozy, & it's very close to a metro station, which makes it easy to visit. I'll come back again when I'm craving chicken.

I finally tried Poulet Royal, & honestly-it delivers on what it promises: fresh, hot, & flavour-packed chicken.
I went for both bbq grilled chicken & hot crispy chicken, & that contrast is where Poulet Royal shines.
The grilled chicken bowl was juicy, well-seasoned, & paired nicely with fresh veggies & a solid spiec sauce drizzle-comfort food that doesn't feel heavy.
The crispy chicken had a great crunch with bold seasoning (not bland, not oily), exactly what you want when you're craving something indulgent(look at the pictures omgggg)
The place itself is clean, modern, & efficient, with self-order kiosks is also there that make things quick even during busy hours. Portions are generous, & everything came out fresh & hot, which matters.
Is it reinventing chicken? No.
Is it doing simple, quality chicken really well? Absolutely.
If you're near Concordia od downtown & want a reliable spot for grilled or crispy chicken that actually tastes good-not fast-food average-this is a solid choice.
Tried the fried chicken tenders combo. One of the best halal fried chicken available here! The chicken is served fresh & hot! Also have good spicy options. A small drawback, the seating here is limited.
First time trying Poulet Royal out of curiosity & it's very delicious, top notch, fresh & generous. I tried a chicken bowl like i used to order at poulet rouge because i love it…& I have to admit, the one at Poulet Royal is tastier, better & more generous. If I have to choose between the two, I'll choose Poulet Royal &…I'll go again! So, good job guys! They also offer crispy chicken & chicken burgers. So, a good menu & an interesting good price with offers with uber. Support this new restaurant, go give a try & if you like it, talk about it!
Poulet Royal is a great place for anyone who loves flavorful grilled chicken. The chicken is well-marinated, juicy on the inside, & perfectly grilled with a smoky taste. The seasoning is rich but not overpowering, making it enjoyable for all tastes.
Their menu offers good variety, including grilled chicken meals, sandwiches, & sides like fries, rice, & salad. The portions are generous & filling, especially for the price. The fries are crispy, & the sauces add extra flavor to the meal.
The restaurant is usually clean & welcoming, & the staff are friendly & quick with service. It's a good spot for a casual meal with friends or family, or even for takeaway.
