Great service & good chicken ; I had the 3 pieces with fries ( spicy version) , The chicken was crispy outside & tender inside but cooked throughout . The prices are reasonable & the portions generous.

My friend made me try it for the first time & as she described their chicken was soft n juicy. Crispy french fries with spicy mayo gave it a lit🔥😍.

Very rare is it that I find myself writing a review for anywhere, but I had to take a moment to write a review for Poulet Fou & Frit. Located on Monk boulevard, this place is truly a gem of a restaurant! Best fried chicken sandwich I have ever had - hands down! The staff is very friendly, the walls are plastered with cool art, this is definitely a sweet spot with great vibes. Do yourself a favor & don't miss out on their amazing fried chicken (don't forget the spicy fries!), or get yourself one of their signature Chicky bun bun sandos & your taste buds will thank you. I still dream of this chicken, & as I write this review, the only downside I can think of, is that they are currently not open until later tonight (5pm), otherwise I'd be eating there now :)

We ordered the spicy Funpack (10 pieces of chicken & fries with gravy & spicy sauce). You can order it mild if you want. We really liked the chicken. It was delicious & their "secret" spicy is special! & the owners are pleasant & generous. Next time, we're gonna try the Bun Bun dish!

The chicken was amazing, I asked the owners to make my burger really spicy & they did not disappoint. Couldn't even finish it because of the crazy spices. They were kind enough to give me a free dessert to help with the spices.

The fried chicken is really juicy, & the spicy version is really up my alley, without being too hot. The skin is crispy & crumbly, different from the onion rings' batter, which is more like a smooth fish-&-chips beer batter, with a nice crunch. The onion rings snap well, with no gluey stringy onions slipping out of their shell. Now I must try the rest of their menu! The owner & staff are jovial & funny, clearly proud & happy, & they should be because this is a special place full of heart. If you like tasty crunchy fried chicken & warm vibes, I highly recommend it.

Best fried chicken I've had to date. Great service & atmosphere. Always a pleasure to go in & get excellent service & that excellent chicken. The fries are also really good, & spicy is definitely the way to go, if your stomach can handle it.

Best fried chicken I ever tried. Their regular spicy chicken is really good but I love it with extra spicy seasoning. Potato fries are different. All over sooo good. Love their indoor ambience, karaoke part as well. Highly recommending for their juicy chicken.

The fried chicken is very flavourful & the crust is still crispy after 20min walk to home. The owner is very friendly, I got there 20min early for my pickup order. They moved my order immediately & offered free congee soup while I waited. It was also really tasty & warm with a good shallot & ginger flavor. Will definitely go back & support if I'm in the area again. Also I asked for spicy chicken, it was really spicy lol, if your spice tolerance is low maybe ask for "a little bit spicy" hahah

I like how the staff didn't bother using any French on me & assumed I was an English speaking American. 😆 The food was amazing. Staff was great. I was under the weather so I didn't get to engage as much with the restaurant or people & ordered takeout to eat at home. The energy of the restaurant was positive & of course smelled great. I ordered the spicy wing combo with spaghetti & it was the pick me up I needed. I opted for spaghetti as the side & still got blessed by the team with rogue delicious spicy fries along with a delicious dipping dipping sauce. As someone who is used to fried chicken in the southern United States, this was a top tier fried chicken meal.

These might be the best chicken burgers I've ever had! Perfectly crispy chicken & THAT SAUCE 🔥 I never expected spicy chili oil to work so well, but they nailed it. Plus the service is super kind & neighbourly & they play great jazz.

Best fried chicken in the city . Hidden gem & in the hood . Was gonna go with KFC but they are much cheaper & better . My baby loved it also .. the spicy fried chicken is spicy but they also make non spicy fried chicken . Good reviews for a reason .

Probably the best fried chicken in Montreal! Make sure you try the spicy one if you love spicy food. The chicken is juicy even the flour tastes great. & the pandan dessert is yummy too. Owners are all energetic & super nice! 100% recommend to who haven't tried it yet.

We had the 5pc today for dinner & the chicken was not as good as what it used to be unfortunately. Used to love coming there for their juice & spicy fried chicken but now it tastes very average. The owners changed. Won't be coming again.

This is not the Maffeo I used to love anymore! Especially the spicy ones - I can barely taste the hotness. It seems like they changed owner & recipe? Tasty & crispy fried chicken 🍗. My favorite is the spicy 🌶️ one. Once you taste it, you will ask for more 👌. Very friendly, generous, & accommodating staff 😊. Atmosphere is very homey; you will feel comfortable & welcomed 💖.
