We had a very nice dinner here & enjoyed all the dishes. The kitchen dishes are excellent; we had soondubu which is very flavorful. & the jokbal is probably the best in Montreal, super tender. The rose tobokki is well balanced. We also had a few meat dishes to grill, which were also very good. Special shout out to JP who is our excellent server & make sure we lack nothing ( I mean nothing!!!) Thank you 😉 If you like K BBQ you won't regret giving this place a try!
Although I have limited experience with Korean food, this is a very successful place. The meats & side dishes were delicious. The waiters were attentive & friendly. Recommended.

Food was delicious! Even though we were 6 people, we had a combo for four & it was enough to have all of us full. They also have a great variety of refillable side dishes too!
The best Korean BBQ so far in Mtl. The side dishes are all amazing. Nice vibe & cool decor. We ordered 3 types of beef, rosé tteokboki, fried chicken (wow), bibimpab, rabokki, cheese gyeran, ... & the delicious dessert hotteok with ice cream (miamm). I highly recommend this place to any Korean food fan!
Lovely korean BBQ with amazing decor & atmosphere. Not too loud during week. Unlimited & good side dishes. No individual fans or ventilation system your clothes will definitely smell a little smokeyy. Not All you can eat but combos are a good deal & decent amount of meat. Meat quality is definitely better than what you get at all you can eat places. Worth your money.
If you want to feel like you are in South Korea, go eat here! We were 5 & tried the party of 4 + veggie & pajeon side dishes! Was too much but everything was tasty! It was cool to sit around the round table!
I came here on Saturday afternoon, & there weren't many people, but the service was a little slow, probably due to only two servers working. The pork belly & pork chow were really good, but the portions were relatively small. The beef brisket was alright. The fried chicken actually more like Japanese karage. When I go to a Korean BBQ, I hope to see cheese corn & kimchi as side dishes, but you have to order them here. Overall, everything was alright, but I wasn't impressed.

Waitress was really sweet however we didn't see her until the end of our meal for the bill. It would of been a better experience if they explained each of the dishes as they were dropped off. Overall the experience was lovely, everyone was friendly, great vibe & AMAZING FOOD!
I had a great experience at Pony Restaurant. The ambiance was cozy & inviting, & the service was friendly & attentive. The meat was fresh & tender, & the side dishes were delicious. I especially enjoyed the spicy kimchi & the sweet potato sides. The portions were generous & the price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Korean barbeque.
Really fun design, felt like we were having street food in South Korea. We had the Beef set for 2 & loved it, & service was quick & attentive. Felt super full. To improve: the floors are quite sticky, & slippery so have to be careful when standing up or walking around to the washroom, etc. Portion sizes for the set was great but the side dishes were not as great (lacking in taste, would like some more side options: gamja jorim, kongnamul muchim, sigeumchi namul).
The food, service & ambiance are all recommendation worthy. In particular the side dishes are a star on their own even & what's better is that the refills are free!

The food is good, similar to Daldongnae, where you choose what type of meat to bbq. It comes with some side dishes as well. We also tried the steam egg which is very good. The major disappointments in my opinion are the lack of light in the restaurant & the choice of music (dance, rap). The only well lit area is in the back & it's very loud as it's next to the speakers. The rest feels like in a street alley with close to no light.
The quality of the meat is very good. I've been to about 4 Korean BBQ restaurants & this is the best. The all-you-can-eat side dishes like kimchi, japchae, & salad were also very good. When I'm in the mood for pork belly, this is where I go.
This kbbq has the atmosphere spot-on. The meat was high quality & the other dishes were all prepared with care & attention to detail. I recommend the cheese corn & the pork belly. On top of all that, JP helped make the experience 10/10 :)
Exceptionnal service. JP very friendly & very welcoming. Had the flank that was new to the menu & that was AMAZING, & & you can't go wrong with the pork belly. A lot of nice side dishes that keep the flavors interesting. Good service, good vibes, & good food. 🔥🔥🔥

The layout of the tables in the back of the dining area isn't very nice as there are waiters/waitresses passing by every second. Despite this we had trouble getting their attention to get our side dishes refilled or to order more drinks. There weren't many side dishes considering it's KBBQ. When I went the ventilation was also quite poor, one person at our table kept getting all the smoke from the grill. The gochu cocktail is really good though 🌶️
The music was realllly loud. I couldn't hear my friends & family talking. I wish I could have ordered the side dishes with an Ipad so the delevery of them would have been more often. We had to wait for them even tho they were free. There is a lot of smoke in the restaurant, maybe adding fans can be a great idea. My clothes smelled meat's smoke for ever after leaving. For the price , I wish you offered more variaty of food. Like all you can eat sushi of dumpling of refill of soup for free etc. In general the food was good, but because of the smoke, the loud environment & the limited choice of free all you can eat side dishes ( which was really small portion) I don't think i will go back at the restaurant.
