Good:
-Fish
-Guys cutting the fish
Bad:
-Impolite cashiers (ie. Saying'Bonjour' or'Merci' is not difficult…)
-The lady at the entrance inventing strange rules (she may be the owner as she's very bossy with clients)
-The appearance from the 90s… guys cmon - you make good $$$. Invest a bit in the appearance of the store. Meh.
FYI - I've been coming to La Mer for close to a decade.
Meilleurs fish&Chips du monde faite avec de la vrai morue un vrai délice je vous dis aller prendre un bon repas pour bon prix Odessa
One of the best fish places in Montreal, tasty & the price is insanely good. Staff member are super amiable. Definitely recommend
The place is nice & clean, but the options felt quite limited. The highlight for me was definitely the friendly staff who took the time to explain everything in detail. I visited on a Saturday around 12 pm, & when I asked, they mentioned that the best time to find a good variety of fish is Monday or Tuesday around 11 am-12 pm. Prices were reasonable, with different types of salmon available. Overall, it's decent, but for people coming from Asia, this market may not feel very exciting compared to what they're used to.
Really nice place with good fish! The service is really good & employees are really helpful!
