I had a very disappointing experience here. I was feeling sick & ordered a tea. After paying, I politely asked the barista if they could add cardamom. I was told it would be an extra 75 cents & that I couldn't pay by card for that amount because I didn't have cash.
Since I was unwell, I kindly asked if they could make an exception just this once. The barista said that if they added any powder, their boss would fire them. I replied that making a small gesture for customer satisfaction wouldn't realistically cause someone to lose their job.
After this, the barista became rude, she refused to put cinnamon powder on top then turned their back on me & walked away.
The tea itself was not worth the price, & the attitude was very unkind & upsetting. Overall, a very rude & disappointing experience.
The man who served us was so kind & genuine! Our tea was delicious & expertly made - we even got to watch him make it. He also shared recommendations for us as tourists & we had a nice conversation. 100/10
From Toronto, visiting Montreal, could not really find a good steeped tea situation aside from artificial chai lattes from cafè. Even Tim Hortons did not offer their signature steep tea.
Found this GEM! Got the karak chai, all natural ingredients & made perfect! Made my stay here meaningful. Also their baked in house cookies were fantastic, matcha chocolate chip & pistachio dark chocolate.
Will Definitely return when back in city God willing!
Amazing little tea shop on Sainte-Catherine. Cozy vibes & delicious teas that warm you up on cold winter nights. Barista was very efficient & had great recommendations. Would come again!
The best tea I've ever had! I really wish they get to move to a bigger place as there's very little sitting space & I'd love to be able to enjoy my tea there, without most likely having to find elsewhere to drink it (especially in the cold, as in summer they have 2-3 tables outside).
I was in Montreal for business & stumbled on Plentea & it was a great find.
The space has a fun, buzzy vibe & my tea latte was smooth, balanced & delicious…I got so addicted to the tea that I returned multiple times during the week! Cookies are also very tasty.
Staff were upbeat & on the ball, even during the rush. The friendly guy at the counter even knew my order by memory after a couple of days.
A great little spot if you're after quality tea & good energy.
The tea is unique & delicious, & although I didn't get one during my visit the cookies & pastries looked incredible. Don't come here if you are looking to get work done though, it is a little loud & not very spacious. Good experience overall though & would recommend for people who can appreciate quality tea & creative flavor combinations/recipes.
We had a great experience at Plentea - my partner had the famous Chai Karak, I had an After Sunrise, & both were delicious. Mohammed was super friendly & took time & care to explain the teas to us, we'll be back for sure!
Oh this place ❤?❤?❤?❤?❤? everything about it is soooo beautiful. The vibes, the area, the little table with the gingham tablecloth, the music & of course the varieties of teas with all the exotic & warm flavours & their homemade bakery 😍 the staff members are super friendly & sweet.

Good food & nice cool service. I had the falafel wrap which is like a flaky pastry dough bread & they put a cheese spread & baby pickles on the falafel. It's a fun treat. I also had the saffron chai tea with oat milk - it was made really well. The barista didn't ask if I want small or medium & just went straight for med cup but when I asked which he chose he offered to change it so best to specify when placing your order. They also don't put a cover on it so it was a bit hard to get around with it. I had to hold it from the bottom & top only as the sides were too hot to hold
Beautiful & cozy, & has impeccable tea! Wished the menu was available online so I attached it here. I always get their Rooibos latte because I'm basic like that, it's soo good tho!
Their business hours here are commendable, they're one of the last places open on Saint Catherine's each night!
Beyond the coffee & teas, they have a nice rotation of sweet treats in their display cases & I regularly get one when I'm in the area. The cookies are incredibly soft & I've never been disappointed by a single flavor combination that they've attempted. This might just be a secret bakeshop!
They have pretty much every type of tea, & the server makes it freshly in front of you! Location is excellent with views of the street. Got the chamomile-lemon-lavender mix which was perfect for relaxing.
