'I ordered the Karak Chai today ($7) & was disappointed to find the cup significantly under-filled. While the flavor was good, the portion size didn't justify the premium price. I'd appreciate seeing better pouring standards in the future to ensure customers get what they pay for.'

From Toronto, visiting Montreal, could not really find a good steeped tea situation aside from artificial chai lattes from cafè. Even Tim Hortons did not offer their signature steep tea.
Found this GEM! Got the karak chai, all natural ingredients & made perfect! Made my stay here meaningful. Also their baked in house cookies were fantastic, matcha chocolate chip & pistachio dark chocolate.
Will Definitely return when back in city God willing!
Plentea is such a cozy hidden gem! The owner is super friendly, the drinks are amazing, especially the Matcha & Chai Lattes & the location is perfect. I recently tried one of their cookies, & it was the perfect little treat. Warm vibes, delicious drinks, & great people. It's becoming a routine for me! 🤗 Highly recommend!
We had a great experience at Plentea - my partner had the famous Chai Karak, I had an After Sunrise, & both were delicious. Mohammed was super friendly & took time & care to explain the teas to us, we'll be back for sure!
Good food & nice cool service. I had the falafel wrap which is like a flaky pastry dough bread & they put a cheese spread & baby pickles on the falafel. It's a fun treat. I also had the saffron chai tea with oat milk - it was made really well. The barista didn't ask if I want small or medium & just went straight for med cup but when I asked which he chose he offered to change it so best to specify when placing your order. They also don't put a cover on it so it was a bit hard to get around with it. I had to hold it from the bottom & top only as the sides were too hot to hold

'The best Chai EVER!' … exclaimed my daughter as we walked away from tjis last minute stop. The only sad part is we walked back hoping for a cornetto & chai in the AM only to find they were not open. Next time! Oh & best bathroom sink in Montreal lol.
The environment is so good. Loved sitting there & having a sight of beautiful st Catherine street. Tbh chai was average, didn't find it karak may be because I am a Pakistani & our karak is a bit more stronger.
Just popped into Pleantea, & wow, what a gem! The vibe is super cozy. I tried their Chai karak, & it was honestly one of the best I've - so perfectly spiced! ❤?❤?

I recently discovered this chai place, & I have to say, the chai Karak is absolutely delicious! The flavors are rich, perfectly spiced, & comforting. However, there's a noticeable difference when the owner is the one making it - it just tastes better, somehow. The employees are great, but there's room for improvement in keeping the consistency of the drinks, especially since the owner's version is so spot-on.
On a side note, the bathroom could use some attention. It wasn't as clean as it should be, which is a bit of a letdown considering how much care goes into the drinks. With a little more consistency in the chai & upkeep in the space, this place would be near perfect!
We tried the Saffron Karak & Karak Chai & we liked it a lot. The owner/staff are really nice & are more than happy to tell you their story. Overall a very nice place where we would like to go again & try more of their teas. Big plus: they make the tea blends from scratch & you can also customize your own tea which we found really cool!!
I had really high expectations of the cookies as all the reviews were great, I went ahead & got the chocolate pistachio, kind of dry, no pistachio cream inside… Quite disappointed. On the other hand the chai Karak was really good, as well as the black velvet.
