Une fois notre visite terminé, les toilettes étaient enfin propre. Pour le reste, les entrées étaient assez moyennes & les plats principaux un bon 7.4/10. Les serveurs sympathiques & le restaurant quand même bien décoré.
Garlic bread is a garlic pizza basically, big enough for 4 people. The Sorino pizza I got was good. I appreciate that they let you customize. My friend did not like her tortellini gigi & I have to agree it had a weird burnt taste to it. Tiramisu was a tiramisu layer cake which was just okay. Music was fantastic. Decor was nice.
Some of the reviews on here (especially from a year+ ago) were quite underwhelming so I went in expecting the bare minimum. Ended up being pleasantly surprised with the taste & freshness of the food. We ordered the garlic bread with cheese (in essence a cheesy garlic pizza), the bolognese rigatoni & the truffle linguini. Everything was delicious. This isn't the most exquisite Italian restaurant in Montreal by any means, but for a BYOW it totally fits the bill. We had wanted to try the desserts but were asked to free the table instead lol. Next time!
Restaurant visité vendredi dernier, nous étions deux & avons tout décidé de prendre les pâtes. Les assiettes étaient bien fournies & nous avons tout deux adoré la sauce qui accompagnait nos pâtes. Les deux serveuses étaient très sympathiques & souriantes & vérifiaient souvent si tout se passait bien pour nous. Nous avons passé un moment très agréable dans ce restaurant.

This is a small & very cute place with a really nice atmosphere. The pasta dishes were all super good & I can recommend the tagliatelle with truffles. The pizza was good but not extraordinary. Also just one waitress, who took care of everything. We were late but still got our table.

I rarely leave an impression by yesterday I was amazed by this cosy place, the food was excellent, great hospitality & good service, portions are big & the price is very reasonable! The presentation is good & the dishes reminded me the ones of my grandmother. I will definitely go back.
Salad Cesar Con Pollo was delicious, huge portion, more than enough for 2 people. Homemade Cesar dressing had an overpowering anchovy taste, which might not be for everyone. Tortellini GiGi was impeccable, rose sauce was chef's kiss. Pizza Siciliana while delicious, was a bit doughy, & missing the classic fluffy airy soft crust.
