Family BBQ’s have always been the highlight of every summer, cooking good food and creating memories with our friends and family are the moments that we thrive for! With all the fun, we dreaded saying goodbye at the end of the night. Once the pandemic hit, we were no longer able to enjoy eachother’s company. Instead of our traditional gatherings, we would send food and care packages to our love ones to let them know that everything will be okay.. After the great feedback from our family, the idea for Pimento’s was born!

Food is decent for a Jamaican restaurant in Montreal. Don't really have too many complaints. The food comes with a nice assortment of sides in the combo. I did ask for curry goat gravy for the rice & they gave me some in a little cup. It was pretty laughable how little gravy they give you. It wasn't even equivalent to a regular spoonful you'd find at your typical Caribbean restaurant. The festivals were my favorite item, very delicious! But overall very good value for your money.View more

I got a patty , the fish cakes , jerk chicken , fried chicken & curry goat . The patty was delicious 8/10 the best I've had in Montreal in a long time . The fish cakes we a 7 out of 10 the seasoning was amazing , it was little to dense for me if it was a little lighter it would be a 9/10 . The jerk was amazing , flavourful , spicy but sweet just perfect . Exactly the way jerk is suppose to be . The fried chicken was crispy & delicious , I could eat it everyday . The curry goat was excellent , not everyone can do a good curry but pimentos can . All in all my experience & the food was phenomenal. I drove 40 minutes & was not disappointed. I will 100% be back .View more

We had the jerk chicken plate. The meat was so tender with a sweet & spicy jerk sauce almost melting off the bone. The coleslaw super creamy & delicious. The plate was well put together. Overall super satisfied with the meal & service, I would highly recommend it to any looking for a good carribean meal.View more

I ordered the small bbq jerk chicken plate & fish cakes.
Overall it was okay. The chicken was cooked nicely & fell right off the bone, but the jerk taste was lacking a bit & the bbq was on the sweeter side which I didn't love (I wonder if I should have ordered the regular jerk plate instead). The festivals were really festival-shaped dumplings but great texture & still appreciated. The gravy on the side would have been a nice touch but it didn't have a taste, so I would definitely suggest some jerk gravy instead to bring it all together!
The fish cakes were great. They didn't come with a sauce but I didn't mind.
It was a good portion size but I feel like the plate juuuust missed the mark for me. I will try the regular jerk one day to compare.View more

Ordered from here for the first time yesterday. Food was amazing! Jerk chicken, fish cakes, & their pepper sauce is fire!!! Plaintains & rice & peas weren't cooked as much as I like it, but still giving 5 stars for food because the rest was that good. Service was fast & friendly. Will definitely visit again.
Update: changing my review from 4 stars to 3. Have been eager to revisit this place & I have to say today I was very disappointed. I ordered the fish cakes but was not given the sauce which quite frankly is the best part. They also had quite a few bones. The festival was hard & dry, inedible. The chicken was not as good as last time. Less meat on the bones & a bit dry. Overall, felt like I was eating leftovers. Also would've preferred the coleslaw over macaroni salad. Wasn't asked which one I want & I really didn't enjoy the macaroni one unfortunately.View more

Best chicken ever I had in my whole life the chicken was super delicious & juicy. I recommend everybody to come here. Amazing food amazing customer service even the lady she brings the food outside while I was smoking outside. it was busy inside & they make the order less than 10 minute even rice was cooked perfectly not even one single rice was a dry. in the beginning, you will think the quantity of the food is not enough, but after you eat, you will be full.❤?❤?❤?❤?View more

Every single last item on the menu that we ordered was amazing. This restaurant does not provide dine in service, but tbh it doesnt matter. The food was to die for & we will definitely be returning.View more
