Overall, reviews describe Pikolo Espresso Bar as a bright, cozy spot with friendly, knowledgeable staff and strong coffee, complemented by delicious pastries and a chic atmosphere. Espresso drinks are frequently praised for their smoothness and latte art, and the matcha and other drinks are well received. The location, convenient wifi, and welcoming service are noted, with staff often described as patient and helpful in making recommendations. Many visitors praise the croissants, donuts, and inventive drinks like the summer slush, which many describe as balanced and flavorful. However a few comments point to a recent dip in coffee quality for some lattes, limited food options, a small space that gets crowded, and practical hiccups such as cups for iced drinks and occasionally unfriendly staff. Overall Pikolo remains a solid local favorite for crafted drinks and good vibes, with experiences varying by visit.
Loved this place! Good, strong coffee & fresh baked goods. Very friendly barista who recommended a drag show to us when we asked what was fun to do in Montreal (had a great time there too).
Great coffee spot! A friend recommended this place when I visited Montreal, & it didn't disappoint. I had an Americano, & my friends tried other drinks-we all loved them. The coffee was super smooth & refreshing. The vibe is simple & elegant, not over-the-top, which I really appreciated. The staff were incredibly friendly, & we even chatted with them about their espresso machine while they made our drinks. They also have a small selection of pastries, though we didn't try them this time. Definitely coming back next time I'm in town!
Great cafe. Clean, sleek, good for work, friendly baristas, & excellent drinks. I ordered a decaf soy latte with a shot of chai & it was so good! Highly recommend. They even have an orange blossom frappe that they let me tried that was bomb.
Delicious pastry, super strong coffee, & very friendly staff. I was there for only 10 mins & experienced all of the above. Highly recommend if you want to grab something to go, or eat quickly. But it's not a comfortable sit down & work place. 10/10 on quality! Wish I took some pix.
Pikolo is a delightful little coffee haven that quickly became my favorite spot in town. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped by a warm & welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. The rustic decor, comfortable seating, & soft ambient lighting make it the perfect place to unwind, whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying some quiet time alone. The coffee at Pikolo is simply outstanding. Each cup is brewed to perfection, showcasing rich, robust flavors that delight the palate. Their menu features a variety of options, from classic espressos & lattes to unique seasonal specialties. Every drink I've tried has been consistently excellent, with a level of craftsmanship that reflects their passion for great coffee. But what truly sets Pikolo apart is the friendly & attentive staff. They go above & beyond to make sure every visit is a pleasant experience. Their baked goods are fresh & flavourful, the perfect complement to a steaming cup of coffee Overall, Pikolo is a gem of a coffee shop that combines exceptional coffee, a cozy atmosphere, & outstanding service. It's a place where you can relax, recharge, & savor the simple joy of a great cup of coffee. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a cozy retreat in the heart of the city.

Amazing cafe with well-made flat whites, hot chocolates & croissants. Ambience is warm & welcoming, so it's a great place to meet for a drink or hangout & work. Highly recommend!
This hidden gem of a coffee shop was a delightful find! They offer a wide variety of coffee beans for purchase, all sourced from excellent origins. The best thing is that they can grind the coffee beans for you, making it super convenient for home brewing. The cold brew this season was incredibly smooth, with a perfectly balanced flavor profile that complemented the coffee beans beautifully. Highly recommended, & I can't wait to come back & try more flavors👍
