The pigs in a blanket & their version of chick-fil-a waffle fries are a 10/10. The rest lacks taste & some dishes do not taste great at all. The breakfast sandwich is decent, but overpriced as it is an easy dish to make phenomenal with very little ingredients. The Shakshouka tastes like dish water & I unfortunately do not want to go try other dishes, as the service was lacking both times.
The first time it was getting busy & so we gave the server the benefit of the doubt, but I came a second time with someone else & could not for the life of me get proper service or the bill for that matter. & no information as to how it worked once we were finished. Lack of communication.
I wanted this to be a cool brunch place since Hopkins closed a while back on monkland, but this is far from a replacement.
I've been a client since the opening. I keep coming regularly because of the atmosphere & Lily the manager that has created such great atmosphere & service. I know all the staff & honestly the Juans are amazing: Juan Pablo, Juan Camillo, & all the staff including the young Juan & the managers Lily & Veronique & all of them are amazing.
The food was amazing .. we orderd the signature salad & hummus felafel with pita .. Suberb .. cant wait to come back
My family & I had a wonderful time here while on vacation. Our server, Giuliano was wonderful & very thoughtful. Everyone (5 year old & 8 year old) enjoyed their meal & the atmosphere-- especially the blueberry pancakes! We hope to visit again, soon.
the food was great the atmosphere was very chill & my server was amazing his name is Lucas amazing service
Had a great lunch today at Pigeon, very nice location & great service!
I really enjoyed the ambiance here. I came for lunch & it was bright & cheerful. I started with a latte & the presentation was lovely. Then for lunch I ordered the shakshuka…which is soft cooked eggs in a middle eastern style tomato sauce which was delicious. My friend had a simple omelette.
Ordered the Sabich Benedict & it was delicious. The server was very friendly & eager to refill our coffee. I had a good experience & will be returning. I also really loved that they had fresh flowers on the table - it was a nice touch!
18$ for a lonely avocado toast without any sides or coffee included. Inflation hits hard.
Really loved this cafe, everything was yummy & the prices were affordable compared to a lot of other brunch spots in Montreal. My party of 5 & I just happened to get a table when we walked in but a line to be seated formed as we waited for our food.
The place is very cozy & well decorated, but I was very disappointed by their slow service. They're food was very average. I'd recommend it to those who's trying to study & grab a cup of coffee in a cozy spot.
Definitely a little disappointed, 4th time going to this location, try to visit every time I come from Toronto. Last week was not the same tasty dishes that I always get & now definitely expect from pigeon...I'm just sad tbh I wanted great food. Pancakes & Shakshuka were not the top tier standard of pigeon cafe
Bon dans l'ensemble,le seul bémol serait vraiment d'y aller en semaine & hors heures de pointes sinon c'est très achalandé ce qui pourrait vous agacer si vous n'aimez pas les endroits bruyants
