J'ai mangé les pancakes & ils étaient franchement super bon! Tellement de beurre, ça j'ai adoré. Ils ont accepté de nous faire le menu brunch alors que l'heure était déjà passé. Le seul b mol selon moi, c'était la musique un peu forte & qui ne se mariait pas très bien avec l'ambiance du restaurant. Overall je recommande
I visited Pigeon Café (Monkland location) earlier this week, & unfortunately this was my second time seeing a rat there.
During my first visit, I informed my server about what I had seen. They responded quickly & said they would notify management immediately, & even offered a discounted meal, which I appreciated at the time.
However, on my second visit, I saw another rat. When I spoke to the same server, they told me that management was already aware of the issue but had not yet taken action.
Seeing a rodent once is already concerning, but seeing one again on a separate visit - especially after it was reported - raises serious concerns about cleanliness & food safety. I hope management addresses this issue promptly.
Had the merguez shakshuka with poached eggs, roasted red peppers, tahini, mint, pomegranate seeds, crushed tomatoes & pine nuts. The dish was delicious with authentic, flavourful ingredients.
We were two people & the place was quite busy. They don't take reservations, so we waited about 30 minutes. I'm personally not a big fan of waiting & prefer places where you can make a reservation.
That said, the restaurant is very pretty, the food was yummy , & the coffee was excellent.

The structure was amazing overall, the food was delicious & the attention was impeccable. I would like to mention our server Alejandro (he was excellent & did a very good job) thank you for the good time in the restaurant
Last Friday I went to this cafe bar to have my dinner. Worst service ever. It is asked to wait to be seated... no waiter at all in the area. A guy from the bar saw us & I didn't give importance since he calmly went to 2 more tables (paid the bill). I was expecting someone else to come but after he finished he came to sit us. We were there standing for about 10 min. We got the menu & 10 min after another couple came & the same guy came immediately to sit them. I noticed there was a lady waiter who was not doing anything in the area other than chit chat with the guy from the bar & kitchen. 10 min passed.& we were ready to order but none came over... after another 10 min the same guy came & instead of check what we want ... he went to helped the couple who came after us & order for them. I had the impression that this guy's simply didn't want to give us the service... I left the place. Beautiful atmosphere, decoration & grat location... but if you go... depending in how they see you they serve you.
For me it was the worst experience ever.... watch out!!!
Le Pigeon Café & Bar, un endroit génial ! L'atmosphère est très chaleureuse & confortable, c'est définitivement un endroit idéal pour passer du temps avec des amis. Le menu est assez varié & il est possible de trouver quelque chose qui plaira à tous les goûts. Les baristas sont très expérimentés. En particulier, leurs cafés & cocktails sont excellents.
Mauvais service. Les serveurs te parle qu'en anglais malgré que tu leur parle français. Plusieurs erreurs dans notre commande & l'attente était interminable. Nourriture correcte mais pas exceptionnelle par rapport au prix $$ & qualité du service.

Amazing service received by Sahily. She was super kind, very professional & helped me chose my lunch option, which was super good. I got the pigeon salad & a chai latte with macadamia milk & I'd definitely recommend both options! I also would recommend the waffle fries!! The ambience was nice, & no wait was needed to get our table.
I'd definitely recommend passing by to study or even just to have a good lunch/dinner!
Amazing services, food was delicious but most of all you can't even leaving without being blessed by meeting Sahily she's just a ray of sunshine. We loved her & coming back just to see her again.
