I was extremely disappointed, & I can honestly say that today was the worst experience I've had here.
I used to come to this café regularly, either by myself or with friends & family, especially when the previous manager was here. Unfortunately, over the past few visits & especially today the decline in both the quality of the service & the attitude of the staff has made me decide not to come back.
To start with, my order was charged incorrectly. When I politely asked for an explanation, I was simply told that nothing could be done & that they could'make it up to me next time.' As you can probably guess, there won't be a next time.
On top of that, the employees were standing around talking to each other while customers waited. We had to wait quite a while before someone finally came in from outside to take our order, & even then it was entered incorrectly.
The barista also made our drinks wrong. One of the mistakes was incredibly obvious-the hot & cold drinks were mixed up. When we politely asked for the order to be corrected, the response was rude, although the drink was eventually remade.
For such a small order, we ended up standing there for 18 minutes.
The most frustrating part is that this wasn't an isolated incident. The last several times I've visited, there has been a different problem every single time.
I can no longer recommend this café. If you had asked me a while ago, I would have recommended it without hesitation. Sadly, that's no longer the case. It's sad for such a good cafe to lose clients like that.
I had such a great experience at Pigeon Café on Monkland! The blueberry pancakes were absolutely amazing! They paired perfectly with the vanilla latte, which was one of the best I've had.
A special thank you to Ally for the excellent service! She recommended the blueberry pancakes, & I'm so glad I took her suggestion. She was friendly, attentive, & provided incredibly fast service, making it a wonderful experience.
I'll definitely be coming back & highly recommend Pigeon Café to anyone looking for a delicious brunch & outstanding service!
My boyfriend & I came to Pigeon Café on Friday night & had an amazing experience. We were served by Nathalie, our waitress, & Camilo, the manager, & both provided outstanding service from start to finish. They were friendly, attentive, & made us feel very welcome throughout our visit.
The burgers & fries were absolutely excellent-fresh, flavorful, & cooked perfectly. To top it all off, they surprised us with complimentary shots, which was such a thoughtful & appreciated gesture.
Overall, the food, service, & atmosphere were all fantastic. A huge thank you to Nathalie & Camilo for making our night so enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back & highly recommend Pigeon Café to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Went to Pigeon Café on Friday night with some friends & had an amazing time. The food was great, but what really made the experience stand out was the service. Liam was our waiter & was friendly, attentive, & made sure everything was perfect throughout the night. Even though it was busy, he always checked in on us & made us feel taken care of. Definitely one of the best service experiences we've had in a while. Don't sleep on the pancakes they were excellent!! Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Recently moved back to Montreal & Pigeon has quickly become one of our favorite spots. The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is warm & welcoming, & the service is always excellent. Special shoutout to Ally, who goes above & beyond every time we visit-friendly, attentive, & genuinely makes us feel at home. Great smoothies, great food, great people. Highly recommend!
