We just had their pho & it was really good the broth was clear but flavorful & the beef was tender the noodles were cooked well & the fresh herbs added a nice touch we also had their fresh spring rolls which were light & tasty we tried the mango smoothie (100% you must try) & you can actually taste the real mango it wasn't too sweet just refreshing overall a solid meal & we'd come back againView more

This is rant review. 1) to state a fact. Its painfully obvious we are a family of four people. 2) we've been waiting for almost an hour to get 1 bowl Why. 3) only after serving one bowl of pho he (the server) tells our order "we told him" was just for 1 person AFTER ONE HOUR FOR A FAMILY OF FOUR. Please be for real. 4) they miss to tell us some of our order are food they are out of. 5) FOR AN HOUR they are so slow to serve us they prioritized to serve other people who came after us! Even if you think its a meal for one, wouldn't you have gotten it earlier & speaking of slow, they serve one by one, no trolley, no nothing. 6) The manager & the employee was misunderstanding us. Please do better. Train your employees & understand proper accomodation. The only great thing was the interior design & the fact we got to eat in the end. Thank you.View more

I had low expectations coming in. Fewer options than a classic Vietnamese pho resto. Iced espresso was served blended instead of separate condensed milk & espresso. Small amount of fresh basil & sprouts with pho. However the broth was fairly fragrant & was served hot.View more

Absolute must visit! I ordered the LQS special pho & vietnamese coffee, both of which were very flavourful & incredible. The restaurant is beautiful with a great atmosphere & our waitress was very lovely. It's the kind of meal you enjoy so much that as you're half way through, you're already dreaming about the next time you come back!View more

I came across Pho Ly Quoc Su in one of my walks. I had never had Vietnamese food before, but I was hungry & curious, & I'm so glad I entered this restaurant. I visited there twice & both times the staff were so incredibly polite (the most polite staff in MTL I would say). The food tasted absolutely amazing & reminded me of the food we have in Brazil (although different, shares some similarities). I became a fan. The two times I went there I had the lunch menu with soup & beef & white rice (unfortunately I don't remember the correct dish name) but it was so good & nutritive also. During trips we tend to not be able to eat so healthy, but in Pho Ly I truly felt like I was eating appropriately & at home. So so good. I totally recommend & plan to come back before the end of my stay in MTL.View more

We ordered the special pho & the hu tieu kho with everything. I am very picky about Pho. This one has the same taste as the ones I ate in Hanoi. Real northern taste. The broth was flavourful & there was lots of meat. My partner ordered the hu tieu kho. It tastes good. This is a great find. We'll come back for the pho again. The owner told me we could order Quay (fried dough stick) - not on the menu to eat with pho next time. I wish I had known it sooner as it would add to the pho. Eating like people in Hanoi.View more

It's ok pho. Broth was OK. It didn't have that Kapow that hooks you. Noodles were the flat wide ones... Not my particular favorite. Rare beef pho was $18. There was no choice of sizes & I thought it was on the medium to small size where the price would've normally warranted, a gigantic bowl. All in all, not bad, but not a knockout. Staff were nice, food came quick, interior was quite nice.View more

A beautiful place, well decorated, clean, spacious & so welcoming. You have indoor seating & outdoor. Very comfortable & family friendly. The service is excellent & the managers take pride in keeping all their clients happy & super well fed. The menu is compact but it is so delicious & so well prepared & presented. The portions are generous & healthier than most asian restaurants. Thumbs up for the cooks. We come from Waterloo, On & I can attest that nothing in our town comes close to this family run business. I commend the owners for their integrity & hospitality. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a hearty, healthy Pho or a noodle dish. Enjoy!View more

Pretty descent pho 🍜 place in downtown Montreal. We arrived at Montreal late & this is one of the few places that were open at the time. The staff was very friendly & spoke excellent English. We ordered vermicelli & spicy beef noodles. Both came pretty quickly after we ordered & we thought were excellent! The only thing that made me not giving a five star is there were no condiments (fish sauce & spicy sauce) at the table like you would expect. Overall pretty descent place.View more

I had the Bun Cha Hanoi! It was the same Bun Cha that I had in Hanoi last year! My boyfriend had the Pho, & he liked it as well! Can't wait to try their other items. The servers were attentive & kind. The ambiance was pleasant with soft music in the background. 5 stars!View more

We checked this place out before going to the HABS-LEAFS game & we all were so so happy we did!! First of all, we are picky eaters when talking about Vietnamese foods, as we can cook well & we know well what authentic northen Vietnamese foods mean. This place meets our high expectation, one of us even said "Tô phở ngon chuẩn vị nhất từng an ở Ca!" (The most delicious & authentic Pho I've ever eaten in Canada!") Kudo to the Chef! Second - great great location & views! Right in the middle of the busy downtown shopping St. Catherine Str., with a stunning view over the square from the 2nd floor window. Million dollar view no doubt!! Third - the restaurant decor was super cool, a lots of adorable corners to check in. We loved every details of the decoration, very impressive!! & last but not least - excellent services. I hope there are more stars to give to Pho Ly Quoc Su, should be the best 5 star review I have given so far. Thank you!View more
