pho(65) soup(24) vietnamese(20) family(11) beef(10) recommend(9) broth(9) spring roll(8) roll(8) authentic(7) price(7) noodle(7)Authentic Vietnamese restaurant in the West Island. Ingredients were fresh & the pho soup specialty was truly exceptional. The establishment was clean & well organized. The service was notably quick & efficient. The staff & owner were very friendly & helpful. Highly recommended.
I've been looking for an authentic Vietnamese spot in the West Island, & Pho Binh absolutely THE BEST!!! The broth is rich, flavorful, & clearly simmered with care. Portions are generous, & everything tastes fresh, from the herbs to the perfectly cooked noodles.
I also tried the spring rolls & vermicelli dishes - both were delicious, well-seasoned, & beautifully presented. The dipping sauces are spot-on.
The service was friendly & fast, even during busy hours. The place is casual but clean & cozy, with a very relaxed vibe.
Definitely a hidden gem for anyone craving legit Vietnamese comfort food without having to drive downtown. Highly recommend if you're in West Island
Definitely my go-to Vietnamese restaurant! Their pho is my absolute favorite, so flavorful & comforting every time. The service is always wonderful too, the staff are so kind & friendly. If you're craving Vietnamese, this is the spot. 😋
The dishes here are excellent! Full of flavor & made with care. The staff is always super nice & welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Definitely my go-to spot for Vietnamese food in St. Charles!
The pho here was good, but the service was disappointing. The staff brought me the menu silently without greeting me. When I mentioned that the AC was too cold, the waiter just said he felt cold too & walked away. At checkout, I paid with cash, & instead of giving me the full change, the cashier lady asked,'How much do you want back?' Honestly, it didn't even feel like she wanted to give me any change. I believe the standard process should be giving the full change & letting me decide the tip-it was so awkward. Overall, the food was decent, but the service really needs improvement.
An explanation to the owner's reply: this review is for Pho Binh at Pierrefonds. I called that cashier lady the owner just to make it simple but if she is not, then it was my mistake & I have corrected it. & maybe that explains the poor service as the owner is never on site.
Always a delicious bowl of soup. My favorite beef broth of all the pho places I've tried.
Food is ok... staff is polite...
Just make sure you get a LEGIT receipt!!!! with RevenuQuebec GST & PST numbers on it...
They took 15% of my money directly into their bank... charging me taxes with a plain undeclared Dolorama receipt...
I swore it is the last time I get riped-off by these type of merchants...
Not my first time here & definitely won't be my last always a reliable, dependable, authentic & tasty Pho...
Wonderful soup, a soup is a meal! However, I noticed the surrounding platters & definitely want to go back to try more meals!
Ordered the soup with tendons, well done beef & flanks, it was yummy. The minced pork spring rolls have sliced garlic in it, which was delicious! Too bad they only have fried spring rolls with shrimps; it's not an option for people who don't like seafood or allergic to seafood..
If you have to choose between Pho Binh & Pho Thanh in Montreal West Island, pho Binh will be a better choice.
The food is perfect all the time! We love their fried wonton, their soups, bbq beef, chicken & shrimps. I especially love their strong iced coffee! The staff is always very friendly! We've been coming here for many many years! The new gives off a comfortable vibe as well!
Went for dinner with the family. We ordered cold rolls, spring rolls, soup, noodles & vermicelli with chicken. All very delicious. For dessert we ordered deep fried ice cream & the restaurant treated us to another one. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant.
The pho broth is delicious. It's a bring your own wine so that saves money
Best Pho soup around at a reasonable price. Under $60 for three people.
Broth is still good as before. I have to say I still think it's the best I've had in Montreal.
However, recent changes in portion sizing are hard to ignore. Price went up a lot. As a regular customer, I was surprised to find the extra-large pho ($19) now contains nearly half the noodles it used to. The single chopstick could lift the entire noodle portion. Hopefully I am the single case, I will come back agin to give it another try.
This place is perfect for a very fast lunch. When we entered the waiter immediately got us seats of 3 people. We ordered & the food came within 10 minutes. I ordered one of the phos with raw beef in an extra large bowl with extra meat which costed a reasonable 25$ since it was a lot of food. The food was very delicious
