Avis pour Pho Bang New York
Les avis mentionnent souvent
pho(124) cash(40) soupe(34) soup(28) beef(28) prix(20) vietnamese(19) spring roll(18) atm(18)If you want to find a place that is cheap & wants to be filled you won't be disappointed. The pho here is good. The only issue I have with the service is that it is cash only, there is an ATM within the restaurant but it has a service charge of $2.65.Voir plus
Pho was the best after PHO75 in D.C. Rice sauce was no.1 for me. My kids love the food.
Simple & savoureux! Argent comptant seulement.Voir plus
If you are a carnivore you WILL love this, but if you are Bun Bo Hue fans, you won't.... Came here on a Friday where this dish is only on 3 days--Friday, Sat & Sun. The place was hopping busy. The entire time I was there & when I left people kept coming. By comparison the Pho Bac across the street which has slightly higher rating on Google was mostly empty when I passed by. Anyway I've eaten plenty of Bun Bo Hue including some in Hue, Central Vietnam, the version here is absolutely nothing like what I had before. Typically this dish commonly found ingredients are pigs blood & knuckle, tendon sometimes, special spices etc. Here's it's just sliced beef brisket, oxtails & beef shanks (& lots & lots of it). Don't get me wrong the aroma, flavor & taste were excellent but it more resembles like a spicier pho dac biet than BBH. Though I initially really enjoyed my dish which at 17+CAD was very good value but towards the end I felt like the guy from BeardMeats Food trying to finish an enormous dish. This is the only time I didn't finish the meat in ANY Vietnamese restaurants. As tender as the shanks were, it's just too much. See photo.Voir plus
Many people told me that good pho can be found here & I do like it. For a small sized woman small is good but not super filling, beef came with generous amount. The salt lemonade is pretty refreshing but for personal taste I wished it come with more lemon. One thing to notice is it's a cash money restaurant, if you are a person like me who only bring a 5 dollar cash in wallet, there is a atm inside the restaurant but with extra transaction fee.Voir plus
When pho didn't double in price, you know there's still hope. The soup has good meat content but they reduced the variety of cuts in it, it's also a lighter taste. Service is meh, we didn't get tea, had to ask thrice for rice. But good bang for you buck.Voir plus
My son had a craving for Pho so we got a recommendation from our walking tour guide. I was skeptical but hey, why not? Pleasantly surprised the food was better than expected. My party had Pho & I had the Bún Bò Huế. Both were good & hit the spot. Surprisingly they provided sufficient amounts of meat but a little on the low side of noodles. This is the opposite in the US where they provide little meat & lots of noodles. Overall, highly recommend this place if you want a quick fix of Pho & other Vietnamese dishes. Prices are reasonable as well.
Good Vietnamese restaurant located in chinatown. Food tastes amazing! We tried few dishes & really love it. The grilled beef on vermicelli & the spring rolls are really good. Feel like eating in Vietnam. The atmosphere is ok. The service is ok. Weve been there few times. But they only accept cash which u should be prepared. But if u dont there is an atm machine.Voir plus
Overall a very good experience. I ordered the weekend special noodle & it was excellent. They gave me plenty of meat & it was very fresh! Wish they gave me more noodles but it's fine. I ordered extra portion so there is that. Service could be better here but as is the case in many Asian restaurants that are busy, YOU NEED TO BE LOUD!Voir plus
Wow, this place is just wow. The food was amazing, I tend to be a picky eater but this place was genuinely one of the best restaurants I've been to while staying in Montreal. I got the com bo ga tom plate which I highly recommend.Voir plus
