I don't get the 4.5, food was not great at all. Canned dolmadakia, bland lentil soup, no Retsina. Also the outdoor patio is tilted so you feel you'll fall down your chair the whole time. Service was good though, & the wine serving was generous. But for that price I would rather go somewhere else. At least they had Greek music.

The waiter was friendly & courteous , quick service & the food was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience & would highly recommend this restaurant. Simple humble place with very kind staff & authentic delicious greek food.

I have been coming to Philinos for years & it remains one of my absolute favorite spots in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is always welcoming & the staff treats you like family from the moment you walk through the door. The food is consistently fresh & cooked perfectly every single time I visit. It is rare to find a place that maintains such high standards over a long period. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable & delicious meal in a comfortable setting.

Everything about our experience at Philinos was top notch. We stopped by for a quick dinner on a Tuesday night & were surprised by how attentive the service was despite the place being quite busy. The flavors were bold & everything came out piping hot. It is clearly a staple for people in this area & I can see why it has such a loyal following. If you want a solid meal without any fuss this is definitely the right place to choose for your next outing.

Decided to give this place a try after hearing some good things from local friends & I was not disappointed. The menu has a great variety of options & everything we ordered tasted authentic & well prepared. Prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes you get. It is a no-frills kind of place that focuses on what really matters which is the quality of the ingredients & the service. We will definitely be back to try more dishes from the menu soon.

Honestly one of the better dining experiences I have had in a while. The kitchen really knows how to balance flavors & the presentation is always clean & professional. I appreciate that they do not overcomplicate their menu but instead perfect the classics. The seating area is kept very tidy & the noise level is just right for having a real conversation with friends. It is a shame I did not discover this location sooner but I will be making up for lost time by returning frequently.

Came with a couple friends for lunch on a saturday & everything was fantastic. Demar served us & did a great job. Food was 10/10. Would highly recommend!
