Marino was our waiter. This is only positive thing here. He is attentive & listen. He is abit in your face but in a charming fun way. I liked it.

The kopinisti was so salty due to the lower class feta used.
The Greek salad, the tomatoes were soggy & old with some kind of extra creamy'feta'. Quite displeasing. For a fine Greek restaurant you cannot lower the standard so much on tomatoes & feta
The meat tastes old & completely under spiced. The Lamb chops were ok. There was no lemon to add to our meat.
The bread was stale & old. This was a first for me to be served stale bread.
Take away everything Greek in the food & then server is as Greek food at a premium price
We asked for the manager to explain to him our thought but it seemed he had left.
I write this review so people can know & hopeful management listens & fixes their menu. It's a shame cause the decor & ambiance is good.
We made last minute reservations for dinner to this place & it was a great experience ! The restaurant is so well lit & makes you feel you are really in a Greek town thanks to the walls & the decor ❤? For appetizers, they gave us incredible bread with olive oil/vinegar & we ordered the Spanakopita which was so delicious ❤? For the main meal, I had the Surf & Turf (2 lamb chops & 2 shrimp) that came with Greek-style Potatoes & Vegetables of the Day while my partner had Moussaka & each bite was a gourmet's delight 😍❤? The service was fast & very kind in asking us if we liked the food frequently. Highly recommend this 11/10 Greek restaurant to everyone who loves great food, ambience, & the hospitality & we cannot wait to try other items on the menu on our subsequent visits 😊 UPDATE: Had Greek salad, tzatziki pita spread, filet mignon brochette , & chicken brochette & very delicious as ever ❤? MORE UPDATES: Went for dinner & had the amazing Petros special (thinly breaded eggplant & zucchini with tzatziki), broiled cod, & Giovetsi (lamb shank) & really wow ❤?❤? A wonderful 11/10 venue with great food & fantastic service

Petros in Griffintown is a great-looking place-nice decor, chill vibe, definitely a good spot to sit down & feel a little fancy.
We ordered a few appetizers: the grilled calamari was amazing, the Greek salad was fresh, the fried zucchini was okay, & the sardines were… just there. Tasty overall, but the prices for apps were way too high.
For mains, we got the lamb chops & the chicken. The waiter hyped the lamb like it was life-changing-it wasn't. Dry & underwhelming. The chicken, on the other hand, was the star of the night-juicy & full of flavour. Fries? Soggy & sad.
All in all, Petros has great atmosphere & a few hits on the menu, but it's a mixed bag. I'd go back but not for the lamb chops & the fries.
Service was good overall, the waiters are easy & attentive. Felt like we aged a bit waiting for the mains.
Our first time at Petros Griffintown was such a great experience! From the second we walked in, the staff made us feel super welcome-like we were old friends dropping by. The vibe was really relaxed & comfortable.
The food? Absolutely delicious. We started with the grilled octopus, which was a perfect way to kick things off. Marino, our server, was awesome-he gave us great recommendations & really took the time to explain the dishes. Thanks to his personal touch, we ended up with the perfectly grilled fish & some amazing lamb chops. Both were spot on!
If you're looking for a place with tasty food & friendly service that feels personal, Petros is definitely worth checking out.
Last night, I celebrated my birthday at Petros Griffintown, & I couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening. Surrounded by my closest loved ones-my mother, father, sister, brother-in-law, & my amazing girlfriend-we were treated to an unforgettable dining experience, made even more special by the impeccable service of Marino, our longtime server whose warmth & professionalism elevated the entire night.
A BYOB place with excellent fare, we began with the mixed pikilia platter, a vibrant spread of Greek delights-crispy spanakopita, creamy dips, briny olives, & other flavorful mezze that immediately set the tone. This was followed by tender grilled scallops, beautifully presented in a rich & aromatic Greek tomato sauce that had us all savoring every bite.
For our main course, the kitchen truly outdid itself. The lamb chops were perfectly seasoned & grilled to juicy perfection. The salmon was flaky & delicate, while the giant shrimp brought bold Mediterranean flavor to the table. & the filet mignon brochette? Absolutely melt-in-your-mouth.
Petros Griffintown delivered a meal-& a memory-that I'll treasure for years. If you're looking for a place that combines heartwarming hospitality with world-class Greek cuisine, look no further. Thank you to Marino & the entire team for making my birthday so special.

My son an I enjoyed a lovely birthday dinner at Petros Griffintown last Wednesday. The atmosphere of this location is very authentically Greek. The food was on point especially the octopus & the lamb chops. Although he wasn't our waiter, I noticed how attentive Marino was with all his customers, especially a big group of elderly friends. He was patient & went above his duties to make his customers happy. Great job!
Ordered on DD, & everything was absolutely delicious! Lamb chops dinner with freshly grilled veggies 🫶🏻 Spanakopita with tzatziki also very good. Pricey but worth it!

Had the most amazing experience here! Our server Marino was exceptional & friendly. The lamb chops delicious, 4 per serving with vegetables & potatoes. The grilled chicken was juicy, thick, & also served woth potatoes & vegetables. Was our first time here & definitely not out last. We will be making it a date night location.
We had a terrific evening here & the service from our waiter Marino was excellent. He made all the right recommendations & our meal was even better thanks to him & his tableside manner. Highlights included the saganaki & the lamb chops. Will be very happy to come again.
We were 4 people ,with 6:15 reservation. We got there at 6pm . No matter how many times we told the waiter to slow down the service, he just wouldn't listen . We decided to let him pick our menu for the night . By 6:15 , 80 % of our food was served . If they could have put our food in a blender , so we could eat faster , they probably would. I have never in my life made to feel so rushed to eat . By 7pm we were served our fish & lamb chops the waiter picked for us. The food was tasty . IF i would have known , 2 seabass a
84$ & 6 lamb chops another 84$ , i would of picked 1 or the other . We were so stuffed because we were forced to eat our entrees so fast , we couldn't finish our lamb chops. I asked for a cappucino . I was told they had no milk . They were sending someone to find some .Which restaurant has no milk!!! After 15 minutes i told them they can keep their coffee. We were out of there around 8pm . way before our time . I will never ever go back to Petros . To think my brother recommended this place .Worst service ever . I am 54 yrs old .. i have been to my share of restaurants ,,
Always really good food & service. We have had the lamb chops, seabass, chicken, greek salad, shrimp. Everything was fresh & tasty. The service is always friendly

Great food!! I was in Greece searching for delicious juicy lamb chops, I found them at Petros!! Best lamb chops I've ever had. Waiter knew the menu well & could give great advice. The atmosphere makes you feel Lise you are on a Greek island. The fact that it is BYOB is fabulous. My new favourite Greek restaurant !!
Richard: had a great dinner at Petros on Griffintown with two friends visiting from Toronto. We had zucchini chips with tzatziki, flamed, wonderful grilled octopus, succulent & share a nicely cooked sea bass & an order of lamb chops, served with a side order of potatoes, broccoli & cauliflower. The great food was only exceeded by our first class waiter, Mareno. He helped make the evening extra special with his good humour & tremendous service. Can't wait to go back. The BYOW feature is also most welcome.

Wonderful atmosphere, super friendly service, & very good food, although the whole black bass was a crazy price.. Best calamari I have had--not rubbery at all. Excellent lamb chops, too, & the other starters were all good. Great to be able to bring your own wine, & the parking valet is also a very good feature of this wonderful & attractive restaurant. Highly recommend!
