Service was quick & friendly, but one must take into account that I did go there when there was nobody else in the joint. The place has a nice vibe, I like the funky décor & the music selection set a pleasant ambiance. The food is pretty good, but not outstanding. Like many of these places that specialize in dumplings, the menu is relatively limited. The prices are quite fair. This is a decent option for dumpling lovers in this part of town.Voir plus

Had one order of pan fried & one order of soup dumplings. The pan fried were decent enough, but the soup were below average. Not a lot of flavor, & definitely not soupy enough. We had to ask for soup spoons after being served (when you'd think that would be the default), so that's probably just the norm here.Voir plus

I am from BC & have heard about the awesome xialongbao but have not tried it. On my first night in Montreal I decided to try this place because it was close to my hotel & the reviews are great. There was another place on the same street 2 blocks away but the line was long so I opted to go inside this place. It's late, I was starving & didn't know where to find a good meal in a foreign city. I ordered the xialingbao because they show at the window by the entrance how they do it so I was intrigued. Oh my, I was hooked right away. It was so yummy, soft, juicy, fresh, that I was thinking of having the same for dinner the following night.Voir plus
