I HAVE FOUND THE BEST VEGAN BAHN MI!

& look, I only had to fly across the country for it!

Excellent sandwich for an incredible price. Like whoa!! The bread is so good. Authentic French baguettes & you can tell. Crisp, but not too hard. Nice & fluffy on the inside. Filling is delicious & fresh, too.

Shop is very clean with lots of yummy interesting groceries for sale. Was offered very refreshing cucumber water which was much appreciated on this blistering afternoon.

The one thing I'd ask for is more tofu!! But, front desk lady was very kind & the food is awesome! I recommend végé BBQ bahn mi!

Edit: I have now tried all the banh mi flavours. The yuba is my favourite, but they're all amazing!
the family that owns the shop recognizes me, bc I am here almost every single week.
I know they sick of me - STOP making such good food then! 😭🤣

Food was okay. Had a banh mi & a pho soup. The broth wasn't too flavorful but with enough hoisin sauce you can get an almost authentic flavor.

Wonderful authentic Vietnamese Vegetarian food in Montreal! The Bún Rieu was delicious 🤤. They have a great assortment of banh mì as well with proteins like tofu mushroom, veggie bbq pork, & curry tofu. Highly recommend for a taste of vegetarian Vietnam!

Rare de trouver tant d'options végétariennes/véganes pour la nourriture vietnamienne (dont 5 choix pour le banh mi & plusieurs soupes), surtout dans un petit resto bien caché. Les portions sont généreuses & tout est bon, y compris le petit dessert vert à saveur de noix de coco. En tant que personne qui mange habituellement le bun bo hue avec viande, j'ai été impressionnée par les saveurs du bouillon & la quantité de protéines végétales donnée! Le banh mi était parfait aussi; les rouleaux de printemps étaient probablement l'élément le moins intéressant, mais tout de même bons. On peut y aussi acheter quelques produits vietnamiens végétariens.

My favourite banh mi place! The portions are big & I haven’t had a bad sandwich here. My favourite is the tofu & shiitake. It’s a very small place but they’re so kind here. The only problem is that the actual restaurant is very warm inside, but I always do takeout. Very underrated!
