My sister & I visited Pâtisserie Samadi on the day of Eid to treat ourselves. We bought an assorted box of pastries, & honestly, their maamoul was absolutely delicious! The quality of the sweets is excellent & fresh.
However, the customer service was really disappointing. Both women working there were unpleasant & unwelcoming. We greeted them politely, but they didn't even respond, not a single smile or acknowledgment. It truly felt like we were bothering them. The only friendly & respectful person was a man working there, who greeted us with a smile & made us feel welcome. Thank you to him! Such amazing pastry should come with good quality serive.

We had such an incredible experience at Pâtisserie Samadi & Fils on Gouin. This place is a treasure for anyone who loves traditional Middle Eastern sweets. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed with the rich aroma of fresh pastries, nuts, & warm hospitality.
We tried a wide variety of items - baklava, nammoura, maamoul, pistachio rolls, & of course, the legendary kaak with knafeh - & everything was absolutely perfect. The kaak with knafeh was especially unforgettable: warm, soft bread filled with gooey, sweet cheese knafeh & just the right touch of syrup. It's the kind of dessert that makes you stop mid-bite & smile. A must-try!
& let's talk about the Arabic coffee - smooth, rich, & perfectly spiced with cardamom. It was the perfect pairing for the sweets & honestly one of the best coffees we've had in the city.
The staff were very friendly & welcoming, & they took the time to explain the different types of pastries. The store was clean, beautifully organized, & had an amazing selection of ready-made gift boxes - perfect for any occasion.
Whether you're stopping in for a quick treat or looking to bring home authentic Arabic desserts, Pâtisserie Samadi - Gouin is the place to go. We came from the South Shore & it was more than worth the drive. Can't wait to return again soon!
I can't say enough great things about Samadi Sweets & their exceptional customer service! My order was unfortunately lost by UPS, but Zakariya went above & beyond to make sure I received my sweets. He quickly arranged for a replacement shipment & kept me updated throughout the process. The dedication & care he showed were truly outstanding.
& of course, the sweets themselves were absolutely delicious-fresh, authentic, & full of flavor. This level of service & quality is rare to find. Incredible experience ordering mamoul for eid to Ontario. We order every eid & we are always blown away by how speedy their service is & how fresh the mamoul is. Not to mention how incredible it tastes. Cannot recommend them enough! :)
I have been coming this place for years.They make the best lebanese desserts. Their ashta is always fresh. I definitely recommend the shabiyyat & kneffeh. Even the baklava at this place is so light compared to the ones they make at other places. No heavy sugars. Very light & tasty.
