Review Summary

Overall, reviews paint Pâtisserie Rosário as a place with standout pastéis de nata and well filled sandwiches, praised for fresh ingredients and authentic flavors that evoke Portugal; many visitors call the natas among the best in town and some compare them favorably to pastries in Belem, while others note that portions or pastry texture can vary and a few visits found the pastries not as fresh or the fillings not top notch. The service is described as warm and friendly by many, with quick seating and efficient handling during busy moments, even when orders are placed for takeout; several comments highlight generous, flavorful sandwiches like chicken pesto and chouriço options, and the prices are repeatedly described as fair. Some reviewers urge improvement in pastry texture, noting that the crusts should be flakier, while others celebrate the friendly ambiance and a consistent menu including tartes and donuts. Overall, the place is regarded as a popular Portuguese patisserie with strong repeats and a mix of highs in quality and occasional inconsistencies.

Lufa auto-selected some bread from Rosario in our order this week & all I can say is that I'm so glad they did! I've had the maple natas before (delicious!) but the baguette was phenomenal. Sweet & almost floral scent. We got some hot dog buns to try as well, I can only imagine they'll be awesome too.

Superb product. Just the fact that they use olive oil & deliver quality product instead of the garbage others sell. Keep up the great work. I only buy your breads at PA.

I didn't have a lunch so I went to grab their warm chicken pesto sandwich for takeout, &... WOW! The aroma was so enticing, it caught my boss' attention in the cafeteria. When I told her I went to Rosario's, she was quick to nod & say everything is really good in that place.

Seriously, the taste of this sandwich, with the crispy bread texture & all the fresh flavors skillfully arranged, was even more amazing than the smell.

So now I gotta go back there at least every no-lunch-day & discover a new gem of epicure - & grab a coffee - because that too is amazing.

Thank you!

One of the best places to get some Natas . The service is really nice , people are patient to explain you about the product. I had 6 different natas & all of them are excellent. Croissants are huge & buttery but it was a bit under cooked from inside. I will avoid the donuts type baked items. They also have fresh breads & baguettes & those are awesome as well. It's also in the shopping district so Highly recommend place to visit

The best natas in town. They are crispy & flasky on the outside & creamy custard on the inside. They also have numerous flavors & some with jam on top. There breads are also very good, great selection. Pao com chorizo is also delicious. I haven't tried anything I didn't like, only thing is parking. It is on St-Hubert so if you can go early to find parking but in the summer the whole street is blocked off so you need to look for parking elsewhere.

Convenient, decent price. Speaking for myself, I'm not a fan of the bread used for the sandwiches, my jaw started hurting after eating half. There's seating for 3 or 4 people, & there was plant water on the table & floor where I had to sit. Churros are only available on Saturdays.
