Review Summary

Reviews describe Patisserie Alati as a must for cannoli and old style Italian pastries, with cannoli often called the best in the Montreal region and the pastries, cappuccino, and atmosphere widely praised. The space is noted as clean and well kept, with a welcoming ambiance and courteous, respectful staff. Price is a frequent topic, with several noting rising prices and a cash only policy that makes the visit feel like a luxury many cannot afford. Some mention that price increases prompt complaints and that the policy to cash only can deter some customers. Occasional comments about service pace when busy and hot conditions with no air conditioning on some visits are noted. Overall, the pastry quality and atmosphere keep this place a popular stop for many.

The owner changed & so did the pastries! Ridiculously priced & not fresh! Canoli filling is no longer the same, different taste & texture is very different hardly any ricotta. The Sicilian cassata looks like it was bleached & no chocolate chips in the filing.
