Review Summary

Pascal Le Boucher receives widespread acclaim for the exceptional quality of its products, the enthusiasm of its staff, and its welcoming atmosphere. Customers frequently praise the delicious offerings, particularly the fries which are noted for their rich flavor and perfect texture. While most experiences are highly positive and highlight the shop's dedication to sourcing from excellent producers, occasional concerns have been raised regarding the consistency of specific items like smoked bacon. Overall, the establishment is viewed as a top-tier destination that provides premium goods and an impressive dining experience without unnecessary pretension.

Picked a bunch of things for supper tonight because of the variety they offer, but the main reason we came was to taste their fries, & they did not disappoint! They are hands down the best fries you can find in Montreal! Why you make ask? They remind me of Belgian-style fries, & the difference is all in the technique. The Belgian potatoes are fried twice: first at a lower temperature to cook them through, then again at a higher temperature right before serving to create that perfect golden crunch. Not sure if these were fried twice but what I'm sure of is these are for sure fried in beef fat, which gives them a deeper, richer flavour than regular fries.
