Review Summary

Reviews for Pascal Le Boucher describe higher prices than elsewhere, but the difference is clear between a standard meat counter and this superb shop that champions precious producers. Nothing to fault, with high quality products and friendly, knowledgeable staff. It is described as the best butcher by many, with skills and warm hospitality on display. Everything is beautiful and tasty, with gratitude extended to the team behind Pascal Le Boucher. Product quality is strong, and the sellers are enthusiastic. Service is amazing and products are excellent. Top notch quality without arrogance or inflated price tags, and the fact that diners can eat there. Totally dazzled. Good job all around.

Picked a bunch of things for supper tonight because of the variety they offer, but the main reason we came was to taste their fries, & they did not disappoint! They are hands down the best fries you can find in Montreal! Why you make ask? They remind me of Belgian-style fries, & the difference is all in the technique. The Belgian potatoes are fried twice: first at a lower temperature to cook them through, then again at a higher temperature right before serving to create that perfect golden crunch. Not sure if these were fried twice but what I'm sure of is these are for sure fried in beef fat, which gives them a deeper, richer flavour than regular fries.
