View more

This place is EXACTLY what we hope look for when we're on vacation: A casual, non-pretentious place with food that is absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the charcuterie Panino & my wife had a Porchetta panino. Both were literally the best paninis we've had in North America & much of Italy. They both featured a special'relish' (for lack of a better word) that was a mix of lettuce, peppers pearl onions & exquisite seasoning. I wish I could have that on every sandwich I eat - forever! The mixtures is both exceptionally tasty & a bit spicy. When I took my first bite it was like a party in my mouth! I knew almost immediately that it was one of the best sandwiches that I'd ever had. Then my wife gave me a bite of her porchetta panino & THAT was even better. The seasoning on that pork just exploded my taste buds… & I'm not even a big fan of pork. One of the keys to the greatness of these sandwiches is the amazing bread. It has a perfect combination of a delicious, delicate center with a perfect, gourmet-crunchy crust. Not too hard or thick, but just right for marrying with the perfection of the ingredients.
Not to be outdone were the staff! They were all every bit as wonderful as the food, & so welcoming & helpful. My wife & I truly can't recommend the Parma Café enough. They served us a meal that we kept reflecting on with great fondness the rest of our trip. In fact, there is a very famous deli in Montreal called Schwartz's which is known around the world for its amazing sandwiches. We ate there the day before & it was, indeed, good , but if I had to choose between the two, I'd eat at Parma Café hands down every time. Enjoy.View more
Wandered in here while getting lost looking for Tommy Café. THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER! The breakfast sandwich was beautiful, delicious & affordable. The service was efficient & pleasant.View more

Definitely worth a tryView more
Sandwich are really good but I noticed since a few months that they put a less chicken in the parma club. For a 20$ Sandwich I believe this is a wrong move.View more
Tasty Steak onion sandwich eating at the counter like a classic dinner styleView more
View more
I just got their panini of the month (fried chicken, bacon, jam & peanut butter). It was AWESOME. There's a lot of fillings, contrary to many other expensive sandwich places where the sandwich taste more of bread that what's supposed to be in the fillings. & also, the bread quality at Parma is very good. & very decent price for the quantity, we don't feel too much screwed up as a consumer - which is the case for many other restaurants who charge very high but for very few ingredients.
The waitress was very busy with many customers (no wonder considering this is a very good cafe) but she took the time to acknowledge me while taking care of all the orders behind the counter & she was very nice.View more

Didn't have a coffee but had an eggplant sandwich...... really good 👍View more
Got the charcuterie sandwich for lunch around 1 PM - friendly service, & got my meal very quickly! The sandwich has nice, crispy bread & the meats taste amazing. I would've added some more sauce or something as it's a little dry. I would recommend & I plan to come back & try others!View more
Amazing local restaurant, They have the best Arancinis & French fries in town! I love the chicken cutlet sandwich!View more

Probably one of the best cannolis I had while being in Montreal, coffee is also good, & I also recommend their Italian sandwich as well.View more
Visiting this cafe in the heart of Montreal was such a amazing experience, finding an authentic lunch style sandwich places is very difficult when you are just visiting a city, & when I found this place I was so lucky. The design & layout of this place was well thought out, the location is in a commercial area in the heart of downtown Montreal where is very inviting & designed very well. The service was fast, & everything was very fresh & made with high-quality ingredients. The pricing was very competitive & didn't hurt the pocket as much. There are options to choose from. Also, depending on what you're vegetarian to having even steak. I would give this a five out of five just for the authenticity & the quality that they're serving at the price point. Whenever I am back in the city, I will definitely be visiting this café again for the fries also were amazing.View more
Came here for a coffee but ended up ordering a steak panini & wow! Can't say enough about how amazing it is. We ended up ordering another panini sandwich & it was just as good. Will definitely be coming back & you should to, you will not regret it!!View more
Was excited to try after seeing many positive reviews. Overall a good meal but the taste is pretty standard & nothing stands out, like an elevated Subway with better bread. There needs some sourness in the salmon sandwich & some pesto or pepper with the steak sandwich would have been nice.View more
I had a smoked salmon sandwich with truffle fries for lunch on a Friday. Pros: The sandwich was very filling & tasty. Ingredients tasted fresh, especially the bread. The café also has an incredibly cute interior. The young woman who works at the counter, I think a local college student, was very kind & friendly. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name, but she kindly wrote down a few off-the-beaten-path spots for me to check out when I mentioned I was visiting Montréal from New York City. Cons: My only critique of the food is that, as other reviewers have mentioned, the portion of fries served as a side is a bit excessive. It's not a side of fries but an entire basket filled to the brim. I was only able to finish maybe 1/4 of the fries. & I'm someone who loves fries! I know that potatoes are relatively inexpensive, but it does seems wasteful since I doubt many people take a to-go box for all those leftover fries & they probably end up in the trash. Overall a good lunch experience! I'd love to visit again to try some of their other menu items, especially their more Italian offerings.View more
Très bons sandwichs, excellent café glacé, succulent biscuit à la pistache, ambiance parfaiteView more
I recently visited Parma Cafe & tried their Saumon Fume sandwich, alongside the Parma Club & it was fantastic. In my opinion the the combination of smoked salmon, olive tapenade, fresh greens, & red onions was perfect - definitely my favorite. The combo meal included a surprisingly large portion of truffle fries, which were absolutely delicious & a pleasant surprise. Did NOT expect so much fries. If you are with someone it wouldn't be a bad idea to just get one & share. Parma Cafe has a great atmosphere & delicious food. Thought it would be a light small snack but left feeling very full.View more

Fantastic chicken sandwich. First off I'm a big eater & it's more than satisfying. You can taste the quality of ingredients, it's the first time in a long time that I'm actually impressed with a sandwich. Good joView more
Elie found this café & suggested that we go & discover it together. To set up is a little bit weird, you order from the main cash. They place your order you find a seat & they serve it to you. There's nothing weird about it. It's just confusing when you get in because they don't necessarily explain it to you. we've seen other places give a kind of number that you place on your table to identify one to the person that they know what to expect & two for the server to bring the food to the right table. We ordered a couple of sandwiches & a Caprese salad we decided to go with the large size which in all honesty was a little bit too big . There was cheese & tomatoes, which is great, however, way too much balsamic & not enough basil. For people who have travelled around & have eaten various types of Caprese salads (not that we're being snobby) but this was not one of the better ones sadly. The sandwich was OK, the bread was really good. However, we didn't really care much for the chopped up lettuce inside & the lack of certain toppings like bacon for instance . There were just a few strips, barely enough to cover the bread area. The fries, however, came in the gigantic basket which we were unable to finish. It was OK to visit. The decor inside is nice. a nice place to visit if you're looking for a quick breakfast in a downtown area of Montreal.View more
