The noodles were amazing! & the service was just the best! Very friendly & helpful staff. & loved our noodles & Chinese burgers! Beautiful store too.View more
The food was so good here! Had the spicy beef noodles - I think it was'G2' on the menu. The noodles were dense & had great texture. They held all the seasoning so well. The flavors were so delicious, but WOW - so spicy! They will reduce the spice if you want them to. The'burger' entree was good too. The staff was so nice. Edit: I've come back here a number of times, & the food is always so good. The flavors are quite unique. The pickled cabbage soup is delicious! Also, the burger entree just keeps getting better! Honestly, the burger has become one of my favorite things to eat at any restaurant. It's simple & savory. It will slowly creep into being one of your favorite things to eat. This is my favorite noodle place.View more
If you visit Montreal, don't forget to come here for a bowl of the distinctive'Guilin Rice Noodles'. The soup base, carefully prepared by the owner, is rich & delicious. The'Crispy Pork' &'Pan-Fried Beef' are simply amazing. A highly recommended great place! The boss is warm & sincere, giving you a feeling of being at home. very 😋🥰🥰View more
Loved everything about this place. I had the fried noodles (homemade) & it was excellent.View more
A family-owned resto~ Food is good, the snail soup is very salty tho couldnt finish it, however the flavour is there. The spicy stir fry noodles were very tasty, as well as the crispy pork feet! Friendly service, lots of smiles, there is only one main cook so expect the wait to be a bit long ~View more
Authentic Chinese food. They have delicious traditional rice noodles with generous portions. The service is outstanding & the atmosphere is fabulous. Highly recommended!View more
Tried the Chinese burger-it was fatty & bland, so I had to doctor it up with sambal & vinegar just to give it some oomph. The twice-cooked pork noodles showed some promise, but the chili crisp tasted burnt & the garlic leaned bitter. I found myself enjoying bites here & there, & honestly, I can tell the food usually hits the mark-but I must've come on an off day. Uncharacteristically, I ended up leaving food behind-the pork was too fatty & the noodles too oily.
The space itself is nicely decorated & spacious, with polite & efficient service. That said, there was a faint ammonia-like smell in the air-likely from cleaning products, but it unfortunately gave off the impression that someone had an accident.
Between the off day in the kitchen & the unsettling scent, I'll call it a 3/5. Hopefully just a fluke.View more
I love Pang Ji .. the couple that runs this place is the very real deal. She makes all the noodles by hand - & the noodles, regardless of which ones you pick, are all fantastic. They make it super spicy for my husband & nice & medium for me. I have been here four times already & look forward to coming back. The place is lovely & spotless & the service is lovely. Also super affordable which is really nice these days!View more
Insane scallion pancakes. I can't stop thinking about it. I will try other noodles next timeView more
Scallion pancakes were unreal & I found a new favorite type of noodle! Guilin noodles are a must tryView more
I decided to try a different type of noodle rather than the original Yunnan style beef noodle. Broth was thick & slightly spicy. Portion was decent.View more
This place is a hidden gem! I ordered the Laoyo fried wide rice noodles (vegetarian option). It was unlike anything else I've tasted before. Nice smoky, rich flavour & texture with just the right level of saltiness & spiciness. I would definitely go back to eat there & for take outs.View more
Two of us walked in for dinner. Order two different noodles & both tasted so good & authentic! Service was fast & nice. Great place if you like a quick meal! Would recommend the Guilin noodles with beef!View more

I am a regular to this restaurant since the restaurant located near Monk station. Their food is always hearty, filling, & delicious. Their handmade noodles are chewy in such a nice way. I go for soupy noodles in winter, & soupless noodles in summer. Certainly reasonably priced, & generous with quantity. The owner is such a sweet person - She even remembers my & my husband's to-go dish even when we come back in a while. I am sad that they moved far away from my place to downtown, but will keep coming. I wish more people know about this place & keep it running.View more
Delicious unique bamboo broth handmade noodle soup hosted by the warm lady by the name of Pang Ji. Will definitely come back for more.View more
I decided to give this place a try not knowing anything about it. It is now my favorite noodle restaurant. I tried three different noodle dishes & loved them all. Will definitely go back!View more
Went for a quick takeout & turned out to be a great experience. Both the spicy beef noodles & the fish noodles we tried were great. Very unique flavour profiles. The chilli oil that came with it deserves special mention. The host was very friendly & we had a great conversation. Will be going back soon to try more stuff.View more
Excellent Chinese noodle shop. Super generous portion & taste is authentic!View more
AMAZING quality noodle dishes. I had the twice cooked pork noodles extra spicy. The place looks nice & the owner is super sweet!View more
We've been here a few times, & the staff is always super friendly. We love the handmade noodles, especially the River Snails noodle (it's just the name, there is no snails or meat in this, so I consider it as vegetarian bowl of noodle) & the sour cabbage with beef homemade noodle. The stir-fried noodles are really good too. You can pay by card here.View more
The snail noodles taste exactly like the snail noodles I had in China, Guilin! If you go there, I recommend taking the snail noodles with an extra egg, it's really delicious :) I think the portions are perfect now as we were really full at the end. This is our third visit & the servers were nice to us every time.View more
Very good noodles & service, I recommend without hesitationView more
Unique little spot with the most stunning homemade noodles you can find. The owners are excellent & the food is out of this world.View more
Visiting from Chicago, couldn't help & stopped by this restaurant. I'm from Guilin haven't had Guilin rice noodles for like a century. Really surprised that they have it in downtown Montreal. Ordered rice noodles with beef very authentic & owner is super friendly & laid back that's my vibe. Y'all need to try more kinds of rice noodles from Guangxi province, the land of rice noodles!View more
Great dinner! Especially on a cold rainy evening. Their homemade noodle dishes are excellent!View more
