Visiting from Chicago, couldn't help & stopped by this restaurant. I'm from Guilin haven't had Guilin rice noodles for like a century. Really surprised that they have it in downtown Montreal. Ordered rice noodles with beef very authentic & owner is super friendly & laid back that's my vibe. AMAZING, this was my first time here & I had the spicy beef noodle dish with the cucumbers, it was addicting & mouth tingly, very cool feeling. Just wish there was more beef in the dish as it was delicious.The waitress was SO kind & patient with me, she helped me choose a dish that would be best suitable to my taste. Kindness like that can be so rare these days so this was a great respite to my day. Guilin, renowned as the nature paradise of China, boasts the most exquisite scenery on earth. & the Guilin rice noodles is theirs special. After getting the rice noodles, I paired them with sour bamboo shoots, sour beans, boiled eggs & fried peanuts...I have a bowl of rice noodles that was unique to me. I ate it quietly, & there was still a small mouthful left. I used the small bowl of rice noodle soup given by the store to heat up the rice noodles, side dishes & brine. It was like entering a new realm. I looked up & drank it all, & then I felt comfortable.Voir plus
