I celebrated my 29th birthday at Pamika on St-Laurent, & I couldn't be happier. I had made a reservation for 15 people, & the staff made sure to tend to our needs. My family & friends were there, which included age 25 to 65, & everyone felt happy & respected. Our waiter, Sam, was beyond expectations : patient, proactive, informative, sociable, & discreet. The food was absolutely delicious. I've been to Thailand myself, & the meals were the closest I've had in Montreal. I strongly recommend the beef salad & the phanaeng curry. There was a wide variety of cocktails, exotic & for all tastes. The atmosphere was beautiful with authentic decorations. Overall, I had a warm welcome for my birthday & I would go back anytime for special evenings with friends.
Food was good, portions are so tiny though!! Had to order another dish for dinner, $11 for 3 dumplings is not logical. Food was very tasty
Sadly, not at all like the old location. The food is really nothing special. The decor is stunning & the service is ok but if you're looking for authentic Thai cuisine, unfortunately the new Pamika is not your place. The fried calamari entree is overpriced & has nothing Thai about it, the pad Thai tastes very close to what you get at Thai express & although the panaeng curry was the best thing we ordered, it really lacked flavour & depth. So disappointing because the old location was amazing.
Service assez impersonnel & assez froid Pas trop chaleureux & accueillant
The atmosphere was pleasant & the service was good. The drink was awesome. However, the meal was not special. The food was a bit different than I knew. So, if you are looking for authentic Thai food, I do not think this is the place you are looking for.Voir plus
Love the atmosphere. I sat at the bar & service was impeccable. The bartender was very professional, knowledgeable & kind, & made amazing spicy margaritas. Food was also delicious. I ordered the crab rolls which I found tiny but tasted very good. The beef paneng is delish & tender. For dessert, longan sticky rice was surprisingly yummy. Mmmmmm. Highly recommend this place.
I went there once, & it was the best service I ever had in a restaurant, the waiters was extremely nice & the food was delicious. I am Thai, & the food is like what my mother used to make for me when I was young, I recommend this place ALOT.Voir plus
We showed up without making a reservation & they managed to accommodate us even though they were busy & we ended up receiving the best service we'd ever experienced. Great food, strong drinks, nice ambience; will definitely go back the next time I'm in town.
The cocktail was great but I did not have a good experience with our food order. Maybe main dishes is where it's at but since my friend & I couldn't decide, they recommended we take all the entrées. We went for 5/6 of them. The sauces seem store bought, & so did the bland rolls. There is also a strong sewer smell wafting through the bar. The shrimp looks impressive but is also not punchy. I haven't had luck with Thai in this city. This place gets a lot of hype from the Eater/the Main crowd which is usually solid advice but was a big flop.Voir plus
