As with all reviews, personal preference & dining experience weighs heavily. Having lived in Japan, we have a baseline but also adjust expectations to 1) How is the flavor? 2) Is it fresh? 3) Is it clean For our taste, we were a bit disappointed. We were excited to experience Otto Yakitori Izakaya but it just wasn't for us. The meat (meatballs & steak) had an odd taste, the karaage was bland, & the "tiger shrimp" seemed regular.

So delicious!!!!! Very fun for date night or group of friends. Service is quick & the brochettes are so yummy. Lamb is the best. Great price & value. Must try!

Not good, not bad. The Karaage & Brussel Sprouts were the star of the show, the "Black Angus" skewer was one of the worst pieces of meat we ever tried. Not acceptable for $8 per skewer. Service was pretty good though!

Amazing place with delicious food. The yakitori are great, & the ramen is surprisingly great, definitely in the top 5 in Montreal. The charcoal grill is what makes this place truly special, & the grilled chicken in the ramen is a unique but amazing choice. The broth was also surprisingly good without being too heavy. The egg was amazing, & the raw red onion was a great addition. My only complaint is that it's fairly loud, & the server made a mistake, though they corrected it. Overall a great experience though. The cocktails are expensive however, & not particularly special.

Me & two of my friends were visiting the restaurant for the first time & it was absolutely delicious!! Amazing service too, everyone was so sweet. We will definitely be back ❤️

I lived in Japan for years & this reminds me of many of the Izakaya. However they are super casual which I like but too casual a little, many people were in there & they seemed rushed but helpful. It was the end of the night so it was last call for the kitchen. The menu was a little expensive but some things were so good some were bad.

I think this place is ok but a bit overrated. Work recommend trying it out but its not going to blow your mind. Enjoyed the chicken, skewer things. Nothing really blew my mind but its not bad! 2022 edit - I actually have been going back & really like it these days. Love the meat & the mushrooms.

Excellent cuisine if you want to try other than sushi in a japanese restaurant. The calamari, the ribs, the liver, & the eel were my favorites.

Plein de petites assiettes super bonnes à partager. J'ai goûté le cocktail au gin qui était vraiment très bon. Le service était parfait & l'ambiance du bar est vraiment cosy on s'y sent bien.

Le meilleur restaurant au j'ai mangé. Positif: Très bonnes équipes, polis, respectueux, serviable, souriant & professionnel. Plats excellents que se soit la température, les portions ou le goût. Prix plus que correct & abordable. Bonne sélection de plats & boissons à la carte. Très bonne ambiance & emplacement du restaurant. Négatif: Flan d'oursin trop salé. La responsable m'a proposé de le changer immédiatement. Carte des desserts petites mais excellente. Je recommande ce lieu les yeux fermés. Les odeurs, l'ambiance, le goût des produits est juste unique. C'est le meilleur restaurant où j'ai mangé à date. BRAVO
