I've never stayed at the Intercontinental before, but it's been a wonderful experience. The in-hotel restaurant was incredible. The first night we were there (Thursday) I ordered a smash burger, price was great, & our servers Marc & Clara were absolutely lovely. I hope to see them again before we leave. The next morning I got to experience the breakfast buffet (so good!!!) & our server Marc (but not the same one lol) was so nice. Over all incredible experience. It's making for a very relaxing comic con weekend.
Pretty decent selection, it's a breakfast buffet not a brunch & closes at 11 am - service was great. No one to receive us for 5-10 minutes at the door, but after that it went well. Will return.

Very budget-friendly breakfast buffet style considering the nice deco, nice table in a prime location hotel in Old Montreal. ($36 + tax & tip) Variety of food to choose, I like the English egg (poached egg in a creamy sauce). The food refill pretty fast too. Just the place can get crowded in a small buffet room.
We had an a la carte breakfast & what a mistake that was. Food was just OK, which is not what's expected at a restaurant like this. To be fair, it looked like the buffet would have been a much better choice but we didn't have it so I can't review it! Service was good.

Je suis en vacances au Québec depuis deux semaines & c'est l'endroit où j'ai pris le petit-déjeuner qui était à la fois le plus cher & le moins bon, le pire rapport qualité-prix de loin. On aurait dit un petit-déjeuner de cantine. Le matin il n'y a par ailleurs presque aucun choix au buffet, ce qui est vraiment aberrant au vu des prix. Par contre le personnel était assez sympathique.
This was one of the best (All included) breakfasts we have had. Servers were right there whenever you needed anything; refreshed coffees, cleared dishes, & checked on us. Also very cheerful & friendly. This is all in addition to the buffet, including a perfect combination items suck as fruits, croissants, eggs, sausage, potatoes, & crepes !!! it was all delicious
Dejeuner avec femmes au Osco ce matin (Buffet ). Hôtel & restaurant très occupé ,mais malgré tout la charmante serveuse Alexandra & son collegue Maxime on bien prit soins de nous ,meme si nous n'étions pas de l'hôtel. Merci pour tout !!! Le restaurant est chanceux de vous avoir.
Servers Alexandra & Maxim were fantastic! Appreciate their attentive services with a big smile! The breakfast buffet was amazing! Will definitely come back.

Food is excellent with a nice selection of cheeses & cold cuts on the breakfast buffet. The maple syrup pancakes were delicious! The working staff Robin, Marc ans Ivan were efficient & attentionate. Nice atmosphere, I recommend this place!
Great buffet, breakfast with a view of snowy Montreal. Warm welcome from staff as Canadians could offer. Special thanks to Marc B & René-Gilles for the service. They really take care of your needs.
Ça été un bon moment le brunch en général, le plat principal & le mimosa délicieux. Par contre, le buffet froid nous ont un peu déçu ... très peu garni, manque de variété & de quantité. Entre autres, les fromages étaient secs, on ne reconnaissait pas les saveurs des muffins & seulement deux sortes de viennoiseries (croissants & chocolatines).
Un peu de déception sur ce super souper de homard à 180$/personne. Pas de beurre à l'ail (ils ont finalement mis du beurre non fondu dans le buffet), pas de sauce cocktail pour manger avec les crevettes, des plats qui devaient être chauds mais qui sont tièdes, des pâtes supposément de type "carbonara au homards" mais qui n'avaient vraiment rien de "carbonara", pas de beurre ordinaire pour le pain, & du rôti de boeuf bien trop cuit.
Finalement, plus de déception de d'appréciation !
