En tant que restaurant de sushi végétalien, notre mission est de faire découvrir à notre communauté un nouveau style de vie à travers notre menu végane. Le propriétaire est un végétarien depuis plus d’une vingtaine d’années, et l’équipe est composée de personnel passionné pour la cuisine végane. Tous nos mets et ingrédients sont fraîchement préparés, et ils sont 100 % végétaliens.

via LibroUnfortunately I must say this was the worst restaurant service experience I have ever had. We came for all-you-can-eat menu, & ordered as instructed on the online system, & then waited over 2 hours with only a few of the items arriving, & the rest never coming. The server then couldn't figure out what we had even ordered, & asked us if we could estimate how many things we had received. Then we tried to pay with a gift card bought on the website earlier that same day, & were told (after waiting more) that we could not pay with the gift card at all. All told, we arrived at the restaurant at 18h15, & left at 20h40, hungry, not able to pay using the gift card bought from the restaurant's website, being charged for more food than we ate. Will not return.
via LibroI will start by saying that the food was amazing. Everything we ate was delicious. However, the experience was quite unpleasant. We arrived at 7pm & our first round of AYCE sushi did not come until 7:50. Not only that, but it was only a small part of the order. We never got our complete order, the soups we ordered from the first round didn't come until 8:45pm. We ordered about 4 rounds of food in total & we only got about 2/3 of everything we ordered. The server never told us about last call, the food just stopped coming. We didn't feel like we ate enough & because of that we don't think it's worth the money. In addition, there was only 1 server on the floor. She was working hard & it's not entirely her fault for slow service, BUT she had many chances to make our experience better & she didn't. For example, she filled our water only one time within the first 10 minutes when my cup was still nearly full, then never again. She chose to clean off other tables near closing time instead of checking in on us. The very least she could have done was ask us how our food was as we were paying, & she didn't even do that. I felt she really just didn't care about her job & wanted to go home. We didn't expect much at all from her since she was so busy, but it would have made our experience a lot better had she just checked in on us a few times. Maybe we just came on a bad night. I really wanted to love this place & recommend it to all my other friends who travel to Montreal, but I'd be too worried that they would get the same experience as us. We loved your food & the concept of this restaurant, but with so many other great vegan restaurants in Montreal, Oplante has to do better.
via LibroEverything was great however we noticed the soy sauce was sweet instead of salty. We were very disappointed that the bottles of soy sauce on each table carried the same sweet "soy sauce" & we even had to ask for salt to add to ours. Please use real soy sauce as it really impacts the flavour of the sushi/food

via LibroThe time I spent there was enjoyable, the staff were friendly & helpful when it came to suggestions regarding the food. Overall, the food was good, some items were tastier than others but the fact that everything was vegan was very impressive!

via LibroComme toujours délicieux... nous y allons à quelques occasions durant l'année, nous devons rouler 45 min. Pour y aller... le service est excellent.

via LibroLes salle de bains étaient vraiment sales & froides. Il n'y avait pas une belle ambiance. Heureusement que la serveuse gentille. Je n'y retournerai pas.

I tried this place for the first time through Ubereats delivery. I had their miso soup, deep fried gyozas, & salt & pepper vegan shrimp. They were all so tasty! I would definitely try more things on their menu, but try to go in-person next timeVoir plus

Il y a trop de sauce (surtout sucrée) en général.
Les portions sont petites pour le buffet à volonté (si je compare avec un autre sushi à volonté où j'allais).
Super de ne pas avoir à se demander si végé ou pas... ;)
