Best Indo-Chinese bar restaurant i've ever been to in Montreal. The food is just great with amazing cocktails, their'now you see me cocktail' is just a banger. The ambience is a 11/10 feels cozy, lively & calm. Such an amazing place run by people passionate about what they.

We visited Oorja on May 17th for dinner. We were visiting Montreal & went there after reading the reviews online. The food was such a disappointment. It was no where close to Indo-Chinese or Hakka.

The Gobi bites were very salty & oily. The sides portion was way too less & we were told that mains are shareable so we ordered only a few mains to share & very highly disappointed. The veg manchurian was undercooked & the side fried rice with it was too oily. The only dish that was okay was Majestic chicken but it had regional Indian flavours rather than being Hakka. The food took a long time to arrive. Overall not a good experience.

Excellent find! It was our first time trying indo-chinese fusion cuisine & let me tell you, it's excellent. The quality of food is substantially higher than the price you will pay ! Must try - & their mocktails are divine (& we are picky)

This is one of my great finds in place st.henri near to the metro & the ambience is 🤩. I'd recommend everyone to try the chicken lollipops, the chilli chicken momos & the ghee shrimp, you'll be craving for more. Amongst the drinks it was a big hit -'thriller' &'almost everything cashew'. We did miss out on our last drink but given the crowd & how busy it gets during the evening it's well understood.
I'm a happy customer here being an Indian this indo-chinese fusion menu is 🤗😋🤤

I had a wonderful time at oorja. food is exceptionally good. The server Jeffrey was very kind. Also the cooks made such scrumptious meal . I would recommend everyone to go try the amazing fusion of Indian & Chinese food.

My first time dine in experience was way more than expected. I hope they keep up even in times to come, since it's not easy to come across a good Hakka Chinese restaurant. Even my friends from Toronto were taken by surprise, given the fact that there are more options in GTA.
Met with the owner & the chef also. Great duo. Overall staff, cleanliness, food & parking were just perfect. Definitely will come back for more.

I am editing my review from 5 to 4 star!!!
On my second visit after a year, I got to see new menu, so now they have reduce the prices & have totally different menu. As the prices are lower I found the quantity of food less too!!
Really miss the old menu!!!
Still I would go for their Chicken lollipop 👌🏻
Overall it's a good Indo-Chinese food place.

Very unique experience, interior is gorgeous, as well as the plating of the dishes, very aesthetically pleasing. The dishes were all shocking with delicious new flavors, thank you for a great introduction to indo-chinese cuisine!
