A beautiful relaxing spot in the heart of Saint-Henri quarter. The cocktails alone were worth the visit as each one offers a unique & amazing experience you won't find elsewhere.
They have live jazz music on Thursdays creating a cozy atmosphere to enjoy good food & drinks.
The staff was extremely friendly & helpful.
Will certainly be back to experience the rest of what their menus have to offer.
Malgré le fait que la nourriture soit bonne (mais pas incroyable) & que la serveuse faisait de son mieux, mon groupe & moi avons une expérience très décevante à ce restaurant.
Nous étions 9 personnes & avions réservé une table près de deux semaines à l'avance. On nous a gentiment proposé un menu fixe & permis d'apportez notre gâteau (c'était pour un anniversaire), ce qui nous semblait très généreux. Cela dit, je n'ai jamais reçu de confirmation de la réservation & j'ai dû les contacter plusieurs fois pour obtenir le menu fixe.
Une fois sur place, nous avons attendu 2 heures pour recevoir notre premier plat, alors que des clients arrivés longtemps après nous avaient déjà tous leurs plats. Nous étions encore au restaurant tard dans la soirée alors que les musiciens & les autres clients étaient déjà partis ; ça sentait la fin du shift. À la fin, on nous a imposé un pourboire de plus de 20% sans nous avertir. Je comprends que c'est la norme d'imposer un pourboire pour des gros groupes, mais normalement on le dit dès le début & on spécifie le montant & surtout, après un service aussi catastrophique (ils se sont excusés deux fois en rappelant qu'il y avait seulement un cuisinier sur place, mais cela a aussi pris près d'une heure pour qu'on vienne prendre la commande pour la nourriture), on se serait attendu à un pourcentage vraiment moins élevé ou une déduction sur le prix avant pourboire. De plus, quand on sait qu'on va accueillir un gros groupe avec un menu fixe, il me semble que c'est la moindre des choses que de se préparer en conséquence.
Somme toute, l'expérience a été très décevante & amère pour l'ensemble du groupe. J'y vois surtout un défaut de gestion & d'organisation. Je pense que des plus petits groupes seront bien heureux de leur expérience, mais nous demeurons très déçus pour une soirée qui aurait dû être beaucoup plus agréable & surtout moins chère.
I loved the curried mussels. They were fresh & the sauce was flavourful & just the right amount of spicy. The portion was kind of small but you pay for the quality, service & ambiance. They also gave me some containers of salad dressing to take home because I requested it, I'm excited to try them
I gave two chances to this place & it was the last… First time they had only one server & it was very chaotic. But the server was so nice we decided to come back.
Half the menu was missing, no beers & most of the cocktails too. We ordered an appetizer & 4-5 ingredients were missing from the plate. The cabbage, the cucumber, the cilantro, & so on. So it was just tasteless fried noodles.
We told the server; & he only said'oups the kitchen forgot to tell me & made the plate anyway' He'removed it' from the bill but at the end the'promo' they have on Tuesday & Wednesday was not a promo at all, he put a SIDE dish in the'two plate 1 drink deal' & the server got frustrated with me explaining it, even tho it doesn't make any sense.
Overall it was very disappointing for a 80$ bill & he was acting like he was doing us a favor for removing a plate missing all its ingredients. It's also a poor decision to make the meal anyway hoping we wouldn't notice.
There's so many better places around Notre-Dame, go try them instead.
2026 March: just came here for cocktails which were nice, pleasant service, pretty decor.
2024: Minced lamb spring roll & chicken Manchurian were okay, nothing special in terms of flavour or texture. The side sauces didn't help the rolls. Noodles for the chicken were okay.
Such a great restaurant! It's always tricky pleasing elderly parents when you're trying to get them to try something new, but to my surprise they LOVED everything that we ordered: Money bag, Cauliflower bites (REALLY GOOD), Lillipop Chicken ( CRISPY, JUICY & FLAVOURFUL), Minced lamb spring rolls, Chinese bhel, Chilli paneer, Veg manchurian, Chilli chicken, Majestic chicken, Fried rice
& Hakka noodles.
We had a reservation at 7:30 p.m. on a Friday, but they were already missing four menu items & two cocktails. When we ordered, they informed us that the fried shrimp was no longer available, even though it seemed like all the food was frozen, like the chewy calamari. The green beans tasted like gasoline or propane. The bathroom felt like an old nightclub at 3 a.m., with a slippery floor & missing toilet seats, right next to the kitchen. Everything felt dirty. We wouldn't recommend this place. The place was loud due to the large industrial fan, as there was no air conditioning, & it felt quite hot inside.
The deep fried oyster mushrooms were absolutely incredible, the batter was crunchy & fresh, you could tell it wasn't sitting under a heat lamp. Fantastic custom cocktails made be friendly, attentive staff.
Souper entre copines samedi soir, nourriture goûteuse & savoureuse. Nouilles Hakka & poulet chili, je reprendrais sans hésiter. Pas beaucoup de choix de breuvage sans alcool, mais le Forty Birds sans alcool était 10/10. Pas d'air clim, il faisait très chaud dans le resto. Service attentionné & très sympatique. Prix raisonnable.
Nous sommes allé à ce resto en couple. Nous avons pris deux cocktails & 4 entrées: salade asiatique, nouille chinoise (épicé), haricots verts sautés (épicé) & le poisson Apollo.
Total de la facture autour de $135 incluant taxes & pourboires.
Nous avons bien apprécié en général. Par contre, les plats auraient eu avantage à être un peu plus chaud. Autre point négatif, plusieurs plats sur le menu n'était pas disponible, ce qui restreignait les choix.
